We ask God for things all the time, but what might be your favorite thing you ask for? Me, I ask For him to fill me with himself. Everything that he is but then I stop and think for a minute and because I want a whole lot of him I ask him how much are you willing to give me?
Of course When asking this I am wanting an instant thing which is not how it works but I bet it amuses him knowing how much his childs greedy heart wants him.

This is my favorite prayer because I think it also makes him happy as well what's yours?

IDK *Maybe, let the meditations of my heart, and the words of my mouth, be pleasing unto thee Lord. Which is a verse. If we fill*ourselves*with being*thankful, and not complaining. Fill our self with his word, then when all else is nothing, our house will stand, for it was built upon his foundation, and him being the Chief corner stone, we build stone and stone, each day, from there. It's a good start, but sometimes men give up, and quit working on loving the Lord, and life. With prayer, he that has begun a good work in you, will complete it. " bv. iioo.jpg *

Hey sister thought I would share this scripture to tie it in with your other blog musings today.
[h=1]Isaiah 59:19-21New King James Version (NKJV)[/h]19 So shall they fear
The name of the Lord from the west,
And His glory from the rising of the sun;
When the enemy comes in like a flood,
The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.

20 “The Redeemer will come to Zion,
And to those who turn from transgression in Jacob,”
Says the Lord.

21 “As for Me,” says the Lord, “this is My covenant with them: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants’ descendants,” says the Lord, “from this time and forevermore.”

God bless!

I mostly listen to what His Spirit is telling me. His thoughts about things. Guidance.

Outside of praising, my prayers consist mostly of trying to catch His heart about things. And His will to pray.

I don't really have a favourite prayer. I pray more for the salvation of my family than anything else but it's not particularly an enjoyable prayer. I pray every morning to thank the Lord for another day, a good night's sleep, food on the table and a roof over my head - I sometimes include thanks for other stuff in this morning prayer. I guess the prayer I get the most out of is the prayers I offer in worship, praise and thankfulness. when I have something on my mind that causes me fear or repentance I sometimes cry. I love to be alone with the Lord and pray.

As I go to work in the day, I ask that he help me to reflect his will in the things that I do, and to be a light in the world, and to not spread the darkness. The he give me the opportunity to help someone that day, and that I be able to share him.

Look there you prayed in a group setting and it didn't hurt one bit right?.... I like your prayer very much.

It is part of Psalm 51 but also the desire of my heart and I will pray it to God.

Create in me a clean heart oh God and renew a right spirit within me, cast me not away from thy presence and take not thy Holy Spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation and uphold me with thy free Spirit. Then shall I teach transgressors thy ways and sinners shall be converted unto thee. Create in me a clean heart oh God.

I say, "Knock, knock!"

And then He says, "Who's there?" ...like He don't know.

Then we laugh and laugh.

I find my deepest prayer is when I am able to be fully present to the unfolding moment...I cant make myself do this it just happens when I have no expectations...in such moments being is prayer and everything sparkles with God.....
