My psycho mom that likes to spy on me took my TV away without ANY warning!

[HR][/HR] I am so upset. My psycho mom likes to be in the room all the time hovering over me while I am watching TV. And when I ask about what she is doing she gets all upset and says I am bothering and harassing her. Um your the one spying on me and following me into the room just because I am watching TV. Then she starts making dinner at a really weird time in the afternoon and when I asked why are you making dinner soo early, she says leave me alone and mumbles something I cant hear, Then I say what did you say I want to know what you said! She says I said leave me alone! And runs over and steals the remote away from me and hides it, saying you know what you don't get any TV anymore!! I don't even want you watching TV in the first place!! Well that just proves you are spying on me, This is without ANY warning!! And this is the next day and it is STILL gone!

This is truly a tragedy. Try looking for the remote under the little cushion on the end of the couch.

Perhaps she has forgotten where she put it....maybe its with her medications!!!

Try to understand your mom right now....maybe just maybe she is starting to going through menopause as I know I got a little squirrely when that was going on and since you are 26 that would put your mom right about in that change of life area. I promise she will get better once she gets past it. Just go give her a hug if you can and tell her you love her.

Instead of being negative, I'm going to actually give you some advice. I think it's time to have an honest conversation with your mother about this. She's being unreasonable since you're an adult. She might be going through a tough time that you know nothing about, show her love and kindness. She's probably getting frustrated about all the questions your asking, when people are upset it usually just gets them more upset when questioned. I hope all will get better, I'm sure once you actually talk to her things will get better.

Great idea, maybe she has some concerns in her mind and would appreciate someone asking "is there anything the matter that maybe I can help with. I m not doing anything really, it wouldn't be any bother"

26 yrs. old? I hope you are paying rent and contributing your fair share, otherwise mommy should hide the tv as well and then kick you out of the nest.
