The game is as follows, everyone posts one Bible verse that the last verse posted reminds you of. I've got an idea as I read a post on another thread:

John 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
This reminds me of:

2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

Your turn now. :)

'k, so it's a long story, but Jeremiah's in prison and his cousin comes to him and says:
Jer. 32:8
Buy my field, please, that is at Anathoth, which is in the land of Benjamin; for you have the right of possession and the redemption is yours; buy it for yourself.

v.14
Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, “Take these deeds, this sealed deed of purchase and this open deed, and put them in an earthenware jar, that they may last a long time.

God, You are amazing!

No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day.

John 6:39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him?
But we have the mind of Christ.

We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.

1COR. 28.
Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

Mark 15:15 And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas unto them, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified.

a bruised reed he will not break, and a faintly burning wick he will not quench;
he will faithfully bring forth justice.

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit:
a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

I felt you were coming with that one :D

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
