When there is a calling from God. Blessings should come of it. Does seem as if you will be stepping into a war zone.
From reading many of your post Blain. God is with you. He who is in you, is greater then what is in this world.

That does not mean you may not get a few bumps and bruises out of it. Thank God that they will not be able to throw rocks at you. ;)
Some assignments are war zones or short term things too.

I bet it is purpose misleading:b
But in all seriously they all worship different God's some of them I have never heard of. a person says Jesus is Jebus and is coming soon and is very mad. others say we are children of the stars others are simply into spiritualism and are into connecting with entities and some are muslum and and make threads about praising allah.
Wikipedia:
Who is Jebus?

  • A fictional name for Jesus originally used by Homer Simpson in the Simpsons episode "Missionary: Impossible".

He was making fun of Jesus and You.

My Dad was a Trailblazer in WWII, is that where you got your name? Here is their website: Photographs

This was their should patch:
Your dad was before my time. I barely missed Vietnam.
I was told by a few that I would have been handed a .30cal machine gun in the Nam due to my size. Jungle warfare, carrying a big heavy machine gun.
Armour piercing rounds in a .30 cal machine gun during WWII. I may have been all over Hitlers Panther tank division.

My Avatar name is a whole lot less glamorous. It refers to my favorite hobby of dirt bike riding.

I agree not sure how long I will hang out there as it is a real battlefield....
I was thinking just the other day. When people are not seeking to listen or learn the truth from what the scriptures say. Even when it is in bold print on there monitor. There interest and motivation is only to push there thoughts, thinking, or feelings onto others. This leads only to arguments, grief and a huge waste of our time.

In the Bible discussion forum.
It has caught my attention more then a few times where the exact answers are given with the actual scriptures in text given. Yet!... They are often ignored 100% of the time. The debating post continue on with sometimes 100's of ongoing post.

I think it may be in the Christians best interest to learn faster who the swine are that we cast our pearls.
When I see the correct scriptural answers given in the Bible Discussion Forum, and it is ignored by those who still chose to argue. I may just resubmit the correct Biblical scriptures to those who are attempting to pass on there personal false teachings in there ongoing arguments.

This should keep my post more to one liners. Like!... What part of this are you missing?
Taken from the correct quote, scripture, or answer that you or another CC member has already given. :)

I tried to muti quote. But it did not happen.

Not a student of WWII History, as I can tell by your lack of knowledge about the penetrating power of a .30 Cal. or .50 Cal. Machine guns. The German Tanks had 3 inches of armored plate, and the machine gun bullets would have bounces off and just alerted the Tank gunner of your exact position. Dad did not talk much about the battles he saw, but one day a couple years before he died of a heart attack, he finally told a story to my brother that explained why he did not like to talk about it. They were in the trenches left over from WWI in eastern France when the Germans counter attacked with Tanks, as a German Tank started to cross their trench, they noticed the turret turning towards them to fire, and someone in their squad yelled RUN! The Trenches were deliberately made in a zig zag pattern, so that no one at one end could fire all the way down the line. Dad was in the middle of the squad as they were running for the bend in the Trench, and just as Dad turned the bend, the tank fired blowing everyone to pieces who were behind him. Afterwards, they had to gather up the pieces of their friends for the graves registration team. No wonder Dad never wanted to talk about the Battles.

I spent four years in the U.S. Force, a year in Turkey, 18 months on Okinawa, and the last year at Ft. Meade, Md. The closest to danger I ever got, was stationed near Samsun, Turkey. One morning on the way to work at the Operations Building, ten minutes before our arrival, a Turkish Guard walking our perimeter spotted a reflection from a rifle scope. With one shot he took out an Islamic Terrorist laying in the bushes to shoot us as we stepped off the bus.

The Best thing that happened to me in TURKEY, was I got to go on a Chapel Sponsored tour of Cave Cities where the Christians hid from Barbarian raiding parties, in HIGHLY Defensible Cave Systems and narrow entranced box canyons. One city was completely underground, they say at least 7-8 floors down, but were were only allowed to tour the top three floors. MANY of those Caves were small Chapels. The are area is know as the Cave Churches of Cappadocia. My understanding is the Churches existed for well over two hundred years before the Byzantines took over the area, and started a Monastery in that area, and the Monks around 300 A.D. took it upon themselves to paint the murals inside all the Chapels of that area.

The sandstone in that area of Turkey made carving out elaborate homes and cities, into the cliffs, fairly easy work.

These last two are from a Church that the tour guide only called "the Church of the Apple"; he did not know the real name. He actually knew very little about it, and I am not sure how he got his job, but I know it sure wasn't from his historical knowledge of the area. NOTICE the shotgun blast into the face of Christ in the Center Dome, that was there when I toured it in 1969. I went into that Church near the end of the tour, and even though there were LOTS of other Churches that I had been in that day, I got a weird sense that something very important happened there. I went back outside and the entrance and it looked much the same as all the others. I went back inside and the same awe struct feeling came over me. COULD that Church literally be a Church that Paul himself started? It was right in the area of Iconium that Paul went through on his Second Missionary Journey.

It is just like the Prison Ministry, there are many who just play the game, that I call Verbal Jousting. And they think they WIN if they can push your buttons to the point of getting you mad. Sure I talk to them, primarily to make them Accountable for the TRUTH that I share with them. BUT I REFUSE to play the game or let them win by getting mad. Nor to I waste a great deal of time on them:

Titus 3:9-11 (HCSB)
[SUP]9 [/SUP] But avoid foolish debates, genealogies, quarrels, and disputes about the law, for they are unprofitable and worthless.
[SUP]10 [/SUP] Reject a divisive person after a first and second warning,
[SUP]11 [/SUP] knowing that such a person is perverted and sins, being self-condemned.

I could name a few people who the minute they jump on a thread, I jump off. And, if they begin a thread, forget it! I think they live to sabotage the truth and get their own agendas out there.

I am proud of what you do though, because you hang in there and, hopefully, counterattack. I know it is not for the person who is such a deviate (they won't listen); it is for the immature Christian who could be easily swayed.

You are like a "blaze" that lights upon the trail!

Bible Discussion Forum has taught me to state my case with scripture and usually leave as I too have discovered they don't read well or think about what they are reading. God just asks us to put the truth out there it is not for us to cause the growth and maturity that is Holy Spirits job. I am just a seed planter or a possible water gal to help water the seed but the growth and conviction that is the Holy Spirits job not mine so I too have learned to plant or water and move on as I am a lover not a fighter by nature. Would rather show the love than dig in for a fight to the last word... I don't need to have the last word as I am a Blond and most times that is enough.....lol

However I do stick around for a little while and defend God's law as the rules of His government - talking about the 10 here that He wrote with His own finger. Jesus was nailed to the cross not the guidelines for the government. So at times I will defend that a tad longer....

People sputtering error also will bring me out of the woodwork for a while, but if it looks like a fight to the death I let them duke it out on their own.... Again I can only plant I can't convince them that is God's job.
