Due to the highly sensitive opinions on those on CC about the holidays we will not consider these gift ideas as "Christmas gifts" but just your everyday gifts you might want to give others for any special occasion.
In other words do not turn this into a stinking debate. It's stricty a gift idea thread.

Anywho, does anyone have any cute ideas to give to your office or teachers? Mom needs office gifts and I'm about Pinterested out.

Dept of human services. 11 people. All women. Since its state govt it can't be anything religious but can be festive.

LOL, I dont know why, but I cant help it, even if it is downright depressing...Gov is really working hard...well, I would need to know something about everybody's personality, age and stuff...but we cant have that in a thread, so I'd buy different brands of tea or coffee, maybe added a flower to the older ladies and some fun candles to the younger ones.

I like the Susanna's coffee and candle idea. A $5 gift card to a froyo shop or coffee shop? African violets?

Purchase a whisk, and then inside it put red and green chocolate Kisses. On the gift tag write, “I “whisk” you a Merry Christmas!"

how about origami?

there are gobs and gobs of free designs online (search "origami ____ diagrams" to find instructions to make ____),

materials are super cheap (just some nice looking paper, printer paper is a good weight for most things, and you can color it yourself in any design you like, or wrapping paper, but it's usually on the thin side and often the coloring rubs off when you start making creases), and hand-made gifts are usually well-appreciated.

Since it's all women how about a bottle of nail polish with a decorative nail file. Find a color that matches that person's personality or something you think would look nice on them.
