Are You Alone now?

Are you one of the so many who spend this season alone? It is sometimes very solitary, but it is also a good time to be nearer to our blessed God and Savior, Jesus Christ. This has been the guide for me for decades. Being alone is impossible when we draw near to our Savior. Being alone is a useful tool for accomplishing this in a loving and blessed way. It is written if we draw near to our God, He will draw near to us.

I pray your time these festive days are in the Lord and blessed greatly with His presence, in Jesus Christ's name, amen.

Always remember you are loved. I know because I am loved.

He is the source of the purest love.

I used to feel alone and lonely even when I was married the first time. I could be in a crowded room and feel alone. Somewhere along the line I realized that God is with me all the time and from that realization I have never felt alone again.

I know that God does not have a conversation with us like another human could and I have gotten sick and tired of the invisibility thing, but just knowing that God cares and has promised to be with me to the end of the world somehow makes me feel comfortable and even though many years I was alone I have not felt lonely like I did before.

The holidays can bring out a lot of hurt and loneliness for folks especially when they are alone, but as Christians we really are never alone.
