12 people died this week because of some cartoon that was going to post, depicting muhammad in a
" bad " way...

Are they not going to bring the article or " cartoon " to press ? or is fear going to determine that answer...

Well if it were here in the US, I'd agree to them posting it, .. We are not under shia law..God willing, Never will be..

If they don't like free speech, GET OUT OF THE COUNTRY,

No one died because of a cartoon...
They were slaughtered because men believe the lies of Satan and are willing to kill for their religious system...

My only question is, how much longer will people call these men radical mulsims... They are only following the Quran... The radicals are the ones who do not follow it...

As for expanding on the topic, do you not think freedom to say what you want without fear is an important topic ?

There was a certain woman whom did cheat on her husband when he was away on a journey. She opened her legs to every man in the land and let her lovers live in the house of her husband. Her lovers they did maltreat the legitimate children of the husband and they did fill the house with violence.

The woman became proud and mocked her lovers. Therefore the most violent of her lovers beat her bloody.

Instead of repenting to her husband she became all the more proud. She said to her lovers "I have the freedom to mock thee!"

Her lovers laughed her to scorn and they did beat her all the more ferociously.

One day the father came home when nobody expected. He did slay the lovers with a strong hand. So mighty and terrible was his coming that the whole house shook to the very foundations. He set fire to the house for it was defiled.

Then he did heal and comfort his children and he took them to a new home which he built by the strength of his mighty hand and they lived happily ever after.

Alternative news sites are the new mainstream news, and they have "freedom of speech", ...and they have no fear, because they do it everyday.

So yes, I agree with you-- we should be able to talk or write openly. (But the US already does have this going, so I'm confused as to why you ask?)
Every nation should be able to have that freedom, without fear of violence, retaliation, or hate.

I read the headlines from 20 plus sites a day. Alt news, mainstream, blogs, etc. Even when they/we have freedom of speech, most of it is junk anyway. The kids "who cry wolf". It's so hard to pick out the gems now. The news is filled with so much misleading, false info, time and time again.

So who do we trust even if the headline in question were "true"?

I think the news, speech and our current world situation is covered and summoned up in

And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring;

That is our world now brother......even with complete freedom of speech.....doesn't matter........we still have perplexity, in what is really truly going on.

Look at the overall picture.
God is fulfilling his promises.

*Actually, Drudge is bigger than anything mainstream out there, with 30-50 millions hits a day? Which pretty much shows that it gets more attention than CNN, MSNBC, or any of the other mainstream outlet.
I'm not saying that I personally trust it....but a lot of people do though.

I agree with this post, yes, a lot of today's news has double meanings and catch 22s either way you turn it, some are just lies or half stories... Very perplexed. They are just businesses looking for ratings with their own agendas attached, but this is getting a little out of control when you have a sheik praying in government buildings or cnn " heads " calling muhammad " the prophet ". It leaves the impression that ones will doesn't matter, they are pushing this " fake fear " on to the public, on a whole other level, don't you agree ?

and yes, I know drudge with ol " alex jones " is getting pretty big, but let the Spirit help us discern truth, don't lay trust with men, as you stated.. I still have not seen this comic you speak of though.
