old rant i found in my files lol i had just graduated high school when i wrote this

Has anyone ever had those kinda parents who cant make up their mind on things? Like if u wanted to join a sport they say "your not going make it" then u prove them wrong and they end up saying "you could get a scholarship or go to big leagues" lol or when u get a job they say "thats not a good job" few weeks later "hustle it up"... my grandmas like that 4 yrs ago she said "your not good enough for choir" then i make the junior varsity group and she said "audition for american idol" haha 4 weeks ago i got my 1st job as a cutco rep n she says "quit thats not a good job... Go work at mcDonalds or home depot"and "get off ur phone" um hello i need my fone to do my job lol now she says "go knock on doors" lol im supposed 2 make phone calls not knock on doors parents cant live with them cant live without them

Never wanna be old
And I don't want dependents
It's no fun to be told
That you can't blame your parents

Its fortunate for you even without your parents support you still did things. Me, I never had support or encouragment from my parents in things I wanted to do and I destroyed myself in thinking I could do anything I set out to achieve. I'm just unlearning that thinking now over the past year.
