  • See the country (in fact, I plan to save money once my car is paid off to take a long road trip),
  • Learn a good deal of trades and odd jobs

I don't have much of a list, I just don't want to hit 30 in the next few years and feel like I haven't done anything.

On threads like this, I am rarely serious.................but, this one time I will be.

As for drawing nearer to God, learning more of His Word and other such, that is something I strive to do daily, so it isn't really a "bucket list" type goal in my opinion only.

My one sincere "bucket list" goal is to find someone, somewhere, who will truly take the time and make the effort to help me get my songs set to music. Someone who can read/write music, compose, score............whatever it's called........

Even if it leads to nothing other than my having a copy of the songs set to music that I can leave with my family or congregation, and nothing else..........my "bucket list" would be complete. I have never sought fame or fortune from my writings..........that's not why I write, so those aren't even a part of it. I write as the Spirit moves me to write believing that what I write was intended for some purpose that I am not even aware of............maybe it's no more than to please God, and if this is true, then that will be enough. But, being brutally honest, that is my one "bucket list" item.

Well, RA has been kicking me really hard lately, so hard to hold onto any dreams, goals or buckets!

I would like to do a Ph.D, but that requires getting my German going, and rewriting a paper to 30 pages to get into the theological institution. And convincing my husband that I do really need to do this! (I do believe God wants me to do this, but I am not motivated, because of sickness and wondering why?)

Get into art a bit more. Painting and photography.

I always dreamed of getting to Europe, but I am a bit put off by this whole Charlie Hebdo thing. And I am not talking the deaths, but the magazine and their vile cartoons. Like why would I want to go to heathen, atheist Europe, unless God calls me as a missionary!?

Just get through the day, with less pain than I have endured this past week. Praying God will restore me again. Any prayers for better health gladly accepted.

This post is great, but it makes me feel sad and dead ended, I cannot lie.
