I had been low on food this week and was waiting for payday to replenish my supplies. I had also been involved in a spiritual fight against something that I felt should not be allowed into my life. This morning I awoke with a feeling of great joy and accomplishment.
One of our roommates was evicted a month ago and his room was locked. Today, the owner of the house unlocked his room and vacated his belongings - including food items. The canned/packaged food items were placed on the dining table for anyone who wanted them. I grabbed some of the healthier food items and now have enough food for the next few weeks.
Did you catch that?
I was involved in spiritual warfare, I was low on food, and fought the good fight. God was victorious, and He blessed me with what I needed before I even asked for it.
"I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13
