Just a random thought. My heart as a Christian, like so many others would weep to look in Jesus eyes. I have wondered all my life. What color? How blessed were those at that time to follow him. Just to look into them. My heart tells me that when We love Him, we can imagine any color,..He doesn't mind. Yet realistically speaking. Would anyone agree the crystal blue portrayal of Jesus eyes in films is just a Hollywood production?. I keep thinking Gods plan for His Son, was nothing about Him having soul piercing, crystal blue eyes. I'm imagining God made Him to resemble His people perhaps brown eyes. I don't think God made Jesus to have extraordinary eyes, for His purpose was to love, lead, heal, and I dunno, I just picked this topic because I picture Jesus now with heavenly eyes...but Hollywood productions at times...lol you know Hollywood. Thank you all at CC for your kindness....God Bless you, and my heart was just curious. I'd love others to share thoughts if you have time. Thank you, and God Bless you all. Be strong, and do not fear hardships today. Jesus loves you ALL, and you ALL walk in His light.nthank you, good day

Jesus was not European. A lot of Jews today are European Jews, who converted thousands of years ago. The original Jews were pretty much like the Palestinians today. Semetic.

Maybe I would not notice because I would see my reflection there. :)

I have always imagined his eyes as either a glimmering blue or green just because to me personally that seems like his eyes to me. Blue has always been a color that ppl have seen meaning eternity but I don't know the actual truth to that. Green I believe means life but either way I think when we actually meet him when we go home his eyes will be the color that fits us best for me its a shining blue for some green or brown

Revelation 1:14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

I believe because love in them burns so much... then there is this one:

Job 41:18 By his neesings a light doth shine, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning.
So bright they are! :)
Kinda like blindness antidote. We see when we look into/through His eyes?

Isaiah 53:2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

I believe you're onto something there skylove... Jesus probably looked so common, that Judas had to point him out, and also He would disappear in the crowd just like that...

remember his description when he returns is far far from 'common'. and everyone on earth will know or will see his return.

for now, there were 2 separate supposedly unrelated and unknown to each other accounts of little children meeting Jesus,
and they both described Him and they may have told the color of His eyes. this might or might not be authentic; other than that, I don't remember any other likely account of meeting Jesus and describing the color of His eyes.

SoulWeaver has it right, to see the symbolisms and know him through those rather then to know him after the flesh

2 Cr 5:15 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

As was intended. Jesus did not want people following Him, believing in Him because of His earthly appearance, position, or wealth. He wanted people to believe in Him because of His words/teachings/Gospel.

As for eye color, I suppose it is ok to speculate, but, given the geography and genealogy, I would suggest they were dark. Black, or dark brown. Now, His Heavenly eyes? I like what the scriptures say that SW quoted.
