The more that I read, the more I want to be right with the Lord.

I'm reading the book of Ezekiel. So far I'm up to chapter 15. What I have read so far is that the wrath of God is going to come upon Israel and upon Jerusalem because of their rebellious spirit. They have forsaken God, the one and only true God, to worship idols and practice many abominable acts one right after the other.

Chapter 13 deals with the fate of false prophets who is telling the people that every thing is going to be what I called " hunkydorrey"
or "real peachy" And in today's modern world, I'm still leery
of these kind of preachers and prophets. That is just me though. I guess I'm being cautious of what I hear and want to take in my spirit when I hear preaching.

Chapter 14:21 reads, For thus saith the LORD GOD; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the
noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?

What I want to make sure of in my life is that is no idols in my life or in my heart.

I Ezekiel 14:3 ...Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face: should I be enquired of at all by them?

And the prayer that I want to pray is the prayer that David prayed in Psalms 139:23 - 24...Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Count me in too. The more about Jesus we will learn, the more of His Spirit we'll discern.

The Jews believe that Ezekiel is a stolen book. Read Ezekiel along with The book of revelation and you will understand why.
