I understand only four of you are going to be able to listen to this... but this is for you few. It's an interesting talk. Jeff is like the Energizer Bunny, and he sure won't bore you.

Just wondering..... Is Blond one of the 4? lol Actually I just marked this with this message so I can come back later and find it....I am over 30 pages behind in Speak Your Mind....I really want to catch up... there then I can come back cause I'm interested in the us against them theory......
Of course I only believe in two groups of people..... Those who accept Jesus and follow Him and those who don't.... What else is there really? But I'm Blond and I don't always think straight.....lol

This is why I said to listen..... OF COURSE we all think that.... it's what we've been taught.
And if you still think that way after listening to what Jeff has to say... no big deal. BUT, if you DO see a different meaning...... what a difference occurs in you.
Again, it's not a "watching" thing. I hardly ever listen to Jeff in a "sit-down" session. In fact, I have one of his videos running in the background as I type here. Don't neet to watch a screen to hear words.
The guy makes a good point but did it really need to take 1.5hrs to get this message over?
My pastor once said that we perceive Muslims to be the enemy - they're not, they are just unsaved like all the others. Yep we need to be looking at people and things through the eyes of Jesus and here on CC it's a good place to start.
Don't know if I was one of the four you were referring to but I certainly heard his entire teaching this afternoon. How very interesting that God has made a way where no one but myself is home when I come across such lengthy teachings. This is twice now on this board.
impure, unclean, in and out, sheep and goats = constructs of Religion.
Seeing Christ in everyone whether they are saved or unsaved as we define it. I'm having a hard time comprehending this but I'll think and pray about it to God so He can open my understanding IF there is something that needs to be understood. Please pray for me in that, brother. I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you, Willie, for posting what you believe the Holy Spirit shows you.
1) No. I don't think that was His mission, though that WAS part of the benefit. I believe He died to defeat death.
2) No. I believe that belief (trust) in Jesus and His death reconciled me to God.
3) This one has always been problematic to me because it infers that we have to somehow become "sinless" before we can approach God. Isn't this the Catholic thing of getting yourself clean by going to confession so you are "worthy" to take communion?
Jesus is God, and Jesus touched, even hugged some of the worst of sinners all the time.... no separation there.

I think I'm not one of the four. My computer is still a desktop (and bought it in time to make sure it still works when desktops become obsolete), and my headset is attached by wires to it, so I can't even go to the kitchen to get something to drink, while listening.
BUT to answer your last answer (if that makes sense), you're right. We have to be spotless to go to God. Jesus washed us spotless. He is our admittance coupon. (Redeem means the same thing it means in regular life -- it pays for something. Money is a redemption coupon to buy stuff.) He is the one who ended our separation and brought us home to be adopted.
Some of the folks on here are deluded into thinking their sinless, but perfectly sinless doesn't happen until glorification. Meanwhile, Jesus scrubs us piece by piece, like Mom used to do when I came in after making mud pies at dinner time. Nah, more like cleaning up a junkyard mutt to turn it into a dog show championship purebred. Some elbow grease and some miracling required.
