Vince here. Thanks so much for welcoming me into the community, I wanted to take a moment to share something pretty cool with you all. I hope this is the right section to post this in.
As some of you know I am a youth pastor. While looking for ideas for our youth room redesign I put together some of the best ones I found.
Anyways. I wanted to share this resource with you all. Also feel free to submit your own designs on the site: Free Youth Group Room Ideas for Ministry
Some of my favorites:
Using pallets for stage design and making cheap light columns
You can read more about how it was all made on the site. Basically though they used black duct tape and colorplast to create the light columns. Then they used wood pallets to create the backdrop of the stage. So cool!
Air filters, black duct tape, and corrugated metal looks awesome
Another one of my favorites. Using corrugated metal for the stage. This stuff is relatively cheap and really has a cool factor. The backdrop behind the stage.. get this.. it’s air filters and black duct tape. For the trusses they used PVC pipe.
Can’t forget about kids and children’s church
My good friend James submitted this design for the site and it totally looks awesome. Again he used corrugated metal like the other youth room did; except he did the whole wall! I also really like what they did with building that 3d text on the wall. If I remember correctly I think it was cardboard?
