I just heard Himalayan glaciers, lakes, and forests have been granted "living entity" status in India because apparently that's the only way humans will respect the need to refrain from destroying those environments. Congratulations world!

My grandfather died many years ago when I was a young child. We would put flowers on his grave every Memorial Day. I heard my grandmother mention one time that he is actually buried off to the side, instead of directly in front of his headstone. Apparently the gravedigger was a simple minded drunk, and he dug the hole on the wrong side of the line that he had marked out. It was the dead of winter and the ground was frozen. Rather than make him redig the grave in the frozen winter ground my grandmother said it was okay just to put his coffin in the off-kilter hole. (All the gravestones were lined up so they couldn't just move the stone off to the side to match the grave location.)

Fast forward 18 years. I brought my college girlfriend home to meet my parents over Memorial Day weekend. We visited my grandfather's grave to put flowers on it. I was standing a couple of feet directly in front of the gravestone. My girlfriend, standing off to the side, whispered in my ear that it was quite rude for me to stand directly on my grandfather's grave. I told her the story. A mortified look came over her face. She stepped over to where I was standing. RIP grandad. I know you would think that's funny. :)

my cat has a tail, he occasionally makes it go back and forth -
on rare occasions he will actually 'hook' it, but that's usually when he gets emotional -
Both my Cats have Tails. Thing is they are not supposed to have them. They are

It is officially summer here, but i heard not as hot as the el ninos we previously had. Less humidity also i am glad to hear, and thank the Lord for that.

Summer/Dry season, whatever it's called... it also takes courage to go out in the heat! Some children get lazier during the hot season break.

One day i visited a widow, and just before i had to leave at abt 2pm, she said, It is still hot, will u be going? And i said in Filipino, Yes it is frightening to "plunge" into the heat of the sun, but i have to... And u hardly notice the heat again as u go about. The Lord did say something abt blessing and keeping us in the heat outside, right?

a cat's noseprint is just as distinctive as a human fingerprint.. :)
I wouldn't take a cat to court for nuzzling me and it's real hard to handle a gun or knife with a nose, so case dismissed.
