Does any watch Joel Osteen???? I was watching one of Joel Osteens sermons the other day and he said that once we are in our mothers womb God has already planned our life out, he already knows how our life will end....so if God knows how our life will end why does he allow such bad things happened to people.....innocent people get murderd, I heard of a little boy getting his body chopped up or even a innocent girl getting raped .....it's crazy to me!!!! I believe in God 100% but some things just don't add up to me

Osteen was right for once.
God does allow evil to perpetrate but He is not the direct cause of it.
We should ask why does God allow good things happen to us since the Fall we deserve only His wrath...
There really was only One who was innocent, and our sin crucified Him.

If a child's parents are not believers, God can't help, for the child is under the authority of the parents. satan is the God of this world...for the present. We need to accept Christ and the blessings that come with being a part of his family.

"bad company corrupts good morals" (so mediocre or bad morals don't have a chance).

if someone leads you to do bad things, totally avoid them. period. don't even talk to them. period.

that includes this forum and everyone here, as well as anyone in your life up to now, today.

the answers you need for life are in the Bible.
the answers you seek you may
ask GOD DIRECTLY,
if you
will
trust HIM, rely on HIM, believe HIM (always in line with HIS WRITTEN WORD as HE REVEALS IT TO YOU).

HE knew every thought in you heart and in your head that you would ever think,

before HE created the world and all life through yahshua hamashiach (CHRIST JESUS).....

and HE PROVIDED ALL, everything, ever, that's needed for your life now and for eternity.

so seek HIM. trust HIM (not men). call on HIM for help in time of need. trust HIM. and read HIS WORD.

Well, He allows Joel Osteen to continue on the air, so yeah: What's up, God?

Learning_gemini, the problem of suffering is a big question, both within the Church and from those who use it as an argument against God. I think the bigger question is "why do we allow certain things to happen?" Like that cover of Dancing in the Street by Mick Jagger and David Bowie along with the music video. That should have never happened.

God does not police us the way some people expect Him to. We're given conviction, discernment, and freedom to do with what we will.

No easy answer for that question.:/ His ways are higher than ours. We cannot see things from God's viewpoint. When bad or good things happen we are unable to see the ripple affect that happens. Nothing happens without reason, I believe. How we handle the good and the bad times speaks volumes about our relationship with God.
