This we know. Not a respecter of persons. He loves all, unconditionally.
Yet, as I study the Holy Spirit and the works He does from the inside out, a fiery dart was remembered and painfully pressed within.

God said, of those who have laughed and mocked causing irreparable damage ...irreparable without the Lord.

“Daughter, I think they forgot.”

“They forgot you are my daughter whom I love”.

“And I am … a God who respects a person”.

---------------

Dearest Father,

I thank you for your teaching and insistance on change. I thank you for not allowing me to stop...to give in fully to gossip and mean remarks. I thank you for the heart to pray for those who might, knowing now they have tough stones in their past and even tougher ones, perhaps, in their future. Help me to love them, pray for them and witness to them to help them become whole. Amen

I've never liked that Bible translation. I know what God not being a respecter of persons means, but to the modern ear, it sounds like God doesn't respect people or like them. That's far from the truth. Obviously His ways are not our ways, but it's much better to just say, God doesn't have favourites. Or something similar.
