I woke up this morning at 3am having had the most awful dream, which
I believe was satanic in nature.
I have posted examples before of some Godly dreams I have had, on CC
and while I know not all people believe in dreams i feel compelled to
post this one.
Fortunately the satanic dreams have been few and far between, where there
is a work of God there will also be a counterfeit version IMO. I have come to
realise the difference over the years (also from those which may be just general
bad dreams).
I must admit while I felt compelled to post this I was having second thoughts,
but as I could not sleep after, I had a peak at the word for today and it was
John 3:17-18 NKJV
[17] For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but
that the world through Him might be saved. [18] "He who believes in Him
is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already,
because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God
[h=1][/h]With the summary at the end of the reading being
So now I definitely feel I need to post this, I feel someone on CC needs to hear this.
Maybe it's you, maybe it's not.
I woke up from this dream feeling sick to my stomach and spiritually drained.
A few nights ago I had a dream in which I saw a person with dark black rings around their
eyes and their eyes were sunken in. I woke up feeling disturbed by this but that's all I got.
Then tonight I had another dream in which this same person appeared again, I knew it
was satan in the dream. There was this awful sickening bone chilling noise following
this person. Imagine two vicious dogs fighting, screaming, tearing into each other, growling
crying out in pain, but not stopping. That's want it sounded like, even though I am
now awake I can still hear it in my mind.
I kept getting the verses about the weeping and wailing and nashing of teeth.
These vile noises accompanied satan wherever he went.
He had a very powerful rifle, complete with telescopic sights the kind you see in the
movies for example. He was stalking/targeting out his prey like the roaring lion.
Others did not see him coming but he saw them. In the dream however I knew he was
coming and was able to get out of the way.
The overall impression in the dream was the vileness of satan, those awful noises,
the cunning manipulative way he targets people. The power he has, the way he is
focused on destruction. He has one thought and one purpose only to destroy. I felt the
bullets in the rifle were not normal bullets, they had the ability to utterly destroy a person,
the fiery darts.
When I woke up I felt sick at the utter vileness I saw but I was also reminded of the
absolute contrasting holiness of God, the saving blood of the lamb, the victory already
won.
I think I understand a little more now how vile all this is to God and why the darkness
clashes so much with the light.
We need to make sure we walk in the light. If we knew how vile the darkness was,
we would run to the light like there was no tomorrow!
Thank God the battle is the Lord's but we have to put on the whole armour of
God and stand.
If there is anyone reading this who hasn't given their life to Christ, do it now.
Don't put it off any longer, run to Jesus while there is still time. Tomorrow is
never a guarantee for any of us.
To my brothers and sisters in Christ, do not be ignorant of the reality and
schemes of satan. Pray, pray and pray again for yourself and those around
you. We are the light and salt on this earth.
