If you read the Silmarillion you would see just how closely the LOTR and the Middle Earth mythology follow the Bible.

Must of seen that special on EWTN about Tolkien's life? (My daughter sent it to me)

If you read anything about Tolkien's life, you find out he was a Catholic, I believe his brother was a priest... He was raised in a staunch Catholic environment, Catholic Schools... for it not to have had any influence on his life, was next to impossible...

Many thousands and thousands of books are very closely based upon all different parts of the Bible..... And not just English books.

Agreed...Shakespear used the BIBLE, Yes, modern TV, movie and magazines quote the BIBLE daily. IT does not mean that they apply the BIBLE, it only means that certain verses and scripture is pulled from it to make a statement..and sometimes that statement is actually anti-Bible and anti-GOD.

It seems Warcraft is based on the Lord of the rings..i do not see it based on the Bible.

Did you know that almost every civilization story is based upon a murder? That even began before the Bible Scriptures were widely known.

That was devised by Blizzard Entertainment to make money off kids, not from someone's personal creative desire to write.
