I met a transgender here in SoCal that had repented after contracting HIV. He found peace in God, freedom from guilt, etc... but it was difficult for him to live with the consequences of the choices he had made.

I used to see him at church and pray with him about once a week for about a year because he needed friends in a bad way as all his "gay" friends had abandoned him after he tested positive for HIV and became born-again Christian repudiating the homosexual lifestyle.

He is with the Lord now. RIP.
