Anyone have any awesome creations you have made?
Here is my 12gauge shotgun I made 2 weeks ago with a friend of mine...
Shot one round and the firing pin broke off, need to re-weld it back on...

Just in case your mom hasn't said this yet, "You'll shoot your eye out!"

(Seriously, do be careful with it.)

My projects:
wreath collage.jpg

Wreathes I've made.

bearcollage.jpg

Teddy bear outfits I hand sewed. (Not one sold, but a couple were given as gifts.)

nativity.jpg

Our Nativity set I made out of stained glass. (I wear glasses, so tiny shards of glass can't poke my eye out. lol)

carousel horse.jpg

My biggest stained glass project.

IMG_1074 18.jpg

Fuzzy Wuzzy -- a topiary teddy bear I made. This is what he looks like before I planted ivy under him. (The pot under him says, "HUN3Y")

IMG_1074 11.jpg

This is what he looks like when I get my stuffed animals to trim the ivy on him.

(Another thing I like to do is take pictures of my stuffed animals to tell stories on their blog.)

I helped my technologically inept grandfather upgrade to Windows 10.

So you could say I've created a monster. :p

Oh, you said "cool" creations. Um... I'll have to get back to you.

how can we not love those who express themselves un-self-consciously???

but, where do we define the limits on OVER indulgence?? in order to save ourselves??? from who knows what???

our fears will allow us to create the bizzare and then to become victims of ourselves.....

and, this is where Christ will often reveal Himself to us and give us a helping-hand so that we may
over-come and except His grace.............

I'd bedazzle if I could just come up with a good enough excuse to do it. (A 59 year old woman in bibfronts isn't quite a normal enough statement. Add bedazzling to the overalls and I'm afraid I'd scare people. lol)

I so want something like that for a fairy house in my garden. Unfortunately 16' X 16' backyard/garden won't support such a lodging.)

I know. "Birdhouse." But I'm trying not to encourage -- too much -- the wrens, pigeons and starlings. Rumor has it all the normal birds in our neighborhood are invasive species. We had a hawk visit a couple of years ago, but I think my neighbors would be terrified if it moved into a birdhouse. lol

You really make the type of houses I love.

I have an easy way of limiting my indulgences. We're broke. lol

Most of what I used to do, I can't afford to do anymore (and can't physically do.) The topiary I made because I couldn't afford a store bought. (And then I learned -- never again. I honestly wasn't up to the physical aspects and my hands looked like I got into a tiff with an alley cat by the time I was done. lol)

God has ways of controlling our impulses, even if we don't have that skill. :D

I don't have pictures of what I have made that I can put on here....but I took home-ec in high school for like one or two days and was bored out of my mind and switched to wood working, built a cat bed, a small book case that would sit on top of a desk, and a round table with formica (can't spell)....and a big square plywood that I painted a modern art picture on.

After school when my daughter was growing out of her crib I had space where we lived just for a bed that would fit the crib mattress so I bought 3/4 inch ply wood and some 2/4's and made a bed for her with a heart cut out in the headboard with rounded edges for the head and foot boards.....that little bed was so strong we could both lay down on it when she had a hard time going to sleep.....

If I ever get a little more tech savvy and learn how to use my digital camera and how to post pictures I will try and load some pictures of things I have created.... I love making stuff.

Hubby needs that computer desk. No matter how many tables, book shelves and cubbyholes I put near his computer, he always seems to be cluttered with little thingamabobs, doohickeys and whatchamacallits covering the desk surface. (I think men call those things flashlights, tools, pen, paper, cup-holders, and stuff like that, but it keeps clutttering. lol)

What's the fourth picture? I'm tossed between thinking that's a medicine cabinet and it's a secret room. (I can't tell if I'm looking in a mirror or seeing behind one.)

It's a medicine cabinet. Double mirrored doors. 46" x 39" x 9.5" deep. #4 it's closed, #5 it's open.
