It's a Hard Knot Life and God designed so, but it is a rule, but there is exception's, or I should say, Seasons.

When I was immature I used anger (getting mad) to get attention, until one day I said that, I'm getting too old to get attention that way. Then I began to grow up, today I don't need attention. I don't know why I wrote that unless it is for someone else. Praise God.

How about: Life brings sudden changes you have no control over. Waiting for God to write on the blank pages of a new season. But waiting with complete trust and joyful expectation.

Life is good, but there is always room for change and improvement. Everyone who is in Christ, and growing, is changing. We are being transformed in our thinking so we think more and more like Christ. As we study the scriptures, the mind of Christ is being infused into our souls and we advance, and mature in our thinking. We also advance when we are tested and pass the test.

The poll didn't show up before!

I'd vote for: Life is good in some areas (growing in my faith and maturing, a deepening of worthwhile friendships) and not great in other areas (job-wise, lost friendships, want to God more clearly and see His tangible provision). I'm trying to change things and I'm praying for something more.

The important thing to learn is not to Strive in your own strength, but to Revive in God's strength. Bless you. :)

I clicked "Life is good and I don't want it to change." What I want and what God is going to do for me are two different things. Does life ever not change?

And for anyone who thinks it doesn't, start thinking income vs. outgo. Unless your monthly income increases with cost-of-living, your life is changing without you necessarily noticing it. In 1979, I could buy a month's worth of groceries for one person for $30. (I still know thrifty. lol) Today we did a perfectly average day of shopping and spent $170. Skipping inflation tactics all together, I also make less money now then I did then. (I'm married, thankfully. lol)

Those are the mightest words I've ever heard from a believer knowing what you're going through!

Praise God!

I'm content but I feel like God wants me to do something, so I'm waiting patiently for His guidance.

Life is pretty difficult right now. Some days it's a struggle to get out of bed to face the day ahead. This storm won't last forever though, so I keep on trucking.
