I can't find the old thread like this!! So I'm making a new one.

Just watched Maze Runner 1. I sort of liked it. Well, it lacks originality! lol. But I did enjoy the story.

What was the last movie you've watched?

Theater or TV?

I been seeing the Michael Myers movies, Halloween, I believe, at my friend's house which I don't care for.

As far as at the theater, it was 90 Minutes in Heaven. :)

Real Steel.......was the last decent movie I watched wouldn't list the very last one as I want to throw that one out.... But I thought it had a good back story in it besides the fighting metal robots.... The father and son story was the best part about the movie.

I LOVED that, watched it with my brother and he cried a lot (he's 12 and it was so cute lol).

last movie i watched was "Xi you xiang mo pian" -- a fairly goofy and very pro-buddhist kung fu movie from 2013. it was entertaining, and had its moments, but not something i'd really recommend to anyone.
one nice thing about it was that in the end, it made the point that faith was greater than all adversity stronger than all apparent strength, and wiser than worldly wisdom - even though it made this point from a buddhist perspective.

At a theater? (We can't do indoor theaters, but we used to go to the drive-in): Aladdin Prince of Persia

At home? The Shining

As a big Star Wars fan, can anyone tell what upsets me about the new Star War movie? Will I live long enough to see it on DVD? (Four - six didn't become available to see it at home until one - three came out.)

Can I avoid finding out what it's about? You bet. Also a Harry Potters movie fan, and even though I heard one of the major characters died in the books, I never found out who until I watched it on our DVD set. lol

"The Martian" at the theater and "Taken 3" on HBO

That Martian was an excellent movie. Well done!
