...Fed up with the CHRISTIAN CHURCH in America...
I suggest try moving to the likes of Africa and see how you get on there! :p

QED!

(or maybe set yourself to praying for the Church in your locality (and country) to change things!)

Wicked...I learned is "twisted". Like the twist tie on a bread wrapper...it has to be unwound bit by bit. Yes, be the change you want to see. Be the friend you want to find. Compare the "You - today" with the "You- of yesterday" and that "You" only. It helps alot. God loves. Period. I spent a few minutes tonight considering some family members and who will go on the rapture and who will probably not. "He loves you, (Jim)...He loves you not (Jane)...He loves you (Jolly)"...I came with the answer..."He loves judgment NOT". But He still loves me and He corrected me. The best we've got...the most important thing we need..is a personal relationship with God. The rest is better described as how well we let Him work through us. To do this, we have to be submissive, committed, dedicated...and trusting in His might and grace. To the Glory... -student

PennEd is a wonderful brother who's heart is amazingly kind and loving, and he shows this time and again in his posts. For him to "like" your post speaks volumes to its accuracy and integrity.
Thank you brother for saying this. It is truly moving. ANYTHING good or decent that I think, say, or do is completely because the Holy Spirit has been working in me to burn out the immense amount of garbage that needs to be removed. That's why I believe the Holy Spirit will work in this young man's heart as well. It wasn't that very long ago that I thought like him, and showed judgement instead of love and grace to people.

I use to think that sins like lust and drinking etc.. was my primary struggle. Not to say they weren't, but my TRUE struggles is the ones I WASN'T listening to the Spirit on. PRIDE, UNBELIEF, and especially JUDGEMENTALISM. I am convinced that although we never compromise that sin is indeed sin, we must in ALL situations show love, mercy, and especially grace. To present the Gospel in love, pray the Lord will work on them to accept it, then let the Holy Spirit do His job. And this I think is why this young man needs our love and grace as well.
