I have found that the American Christian Church is a joke. Don't get me wrong, I love God. And I used to love the Church also. But what I have found is that the church is flooded with hypocritical, fake, racist, and sometimes people that are 100 percent pretenders.
I come to this forum, I see the hypocricy in the church. I go on facebook and I see nothing but hypocrites and pharisees.
I have often found in the midst of racial injustices in the News, terrorist attacks, etc. That people are either sheep that hop on the bandwagon of whatever the majority says, or they are straight up bigoted, prejudiced racist wolves in sheeps clothing. Then there are some good people in the church that keep it real but they are quiet because they are scared of the flack they will catch if they speak up against the bull crap they see other so called christians doing and saying. This comes mostly from white christians although I don't beleive the black church is totally innocent either. They can be just as bad, but in a different way.
For example, there was this guy I worked a job with that was totally jealous of me. A fat black guy. He would do whatever in his power to attempt to lower my self esteem, make me look bad to others, even spreading lies about me to slander me and make me look like a fool or a bad guy. He was one of the most despicable and evil people I ever met. I check his facebook page and he is posting bible verses and saying things like, "Preaching ain't easy but somebody's got to do it."
Next thing I know he's going to theological seminary to become a preacher. Now he is a preacher. THe people on his facebook timeline call him reverend and he preaches at a church in the southern part of my city I beleive. Now we have a large group of idiots going to this guy's church respecting him as a righteous man of God because he puts on a religious front, acts all spiritual. Knowing he is just a predator in the church. A false apostle. And a conniving crooked individual using religion and a bunch of sheepish fools going to his church to gain power and respect. This is a picture of what is going on in the Church today. But the bible said it was going to be like this.
Now Im not saying christians are bad. Im a christian myself. All I'm saying is that the majority of the American Church is a joke. Even people that act all spiritual and super religious have let me down. I used to hear people bash christians when religious topics came up and I always thought it was pure non sense. People just making excuses to deny christ as their savior. Now, i can somewhat identify with them when they say that.
Fortunately, for me the church isn't my savior. Jesus is. I no longer take the church seriously and it is often hard to know who I can consider a brother or sister in Christ and who is just a false apostle. I am not perfect as no one is but I am a good hearted person that tries to follow GOd. I didn't get saved so I could make alot of friends at church, for cultural reasons, or because of someone else's walk. I got saved because I truly beleived that Jesus died for my sins............and blah blah blah. Not trying to get to preachy. I have not forsaken God, but I no longer take the church seriously. Or what is SUPPOSED to be the church. I love all sincere and genuine good hearted people. I no longer care who calls themselves christian. I don't care how many bible verses people memorize, or how spiritual they act on the outside, or what Title they hold in the church. All I care about is a person's heart. Christian or non christian. That is how I judge people now. But to tell the truth I am fed up with church folks. I choose to have my own relationship with Christ, and I could care less what any other christian thinks about what I say or do. When I see the chruch folk I see more religion than relationship anyway. Alot of people trying to act super spiritual to impress other people, but no real relationship. Because if they truly had a relationship with Jesus then their heart would change. Now Im not saying I am perfect or that anyone else is perfect. But much of what I have been seeing coming from the church crowd is pure evil.
So now I look at the church like it is a circus. Im sure there are good churches out there. I am basically just generalizing based on what Ive been seeing out here coming from the church folks that are supposed to be representing Jesus to the world. Trust there are good churches and church people. But I am seeing more often than not, pure craziness coming from the church crowd.
Am I the only one that feels this way here in the US. I'm sure I will catch alot of flack for what I said and it may offend alot of people, but like I said. I could care less what another so called christian thinks about me. If you want to rebuke me or tear me down for speaking about what I see as honestly as I can say it, then get to it.
