Why is it society is so depressing? So called narrow sighted money-worshipping artists and actors? That's who we really idolize?
Are society really so scared to speak about what's going on in the world?
There is no activists really, since all the ones who tried to say something in this world got murdered.
Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Kennedy, John Lennon, Jesus Christ.
It's depressing. If I could sing I would want to sing about this world and how it really is.. If people wanted to listen, I think honestly they're fine having no soul, turning on their TVs singing along to Muzak. For Gods sake. Wake up.

I swear one day ill be famous, and ill wake up people. If its with comedy, or what people like. Cause people don't even want an artist to look up to, they already have people like Kim kardashian. Where people think money and fame is successful

I just need to get a guitar. Get money for one. I am writing a lot already.
I sold my last guitar, cause I had to pay house rent.
And where did that leave me?
It's over now my alcohol addiction. I just had to realize that there is a child in every man. I had a rough childhood.
I am 19. Before I'm 25, ill be famous, and wakin up people. Believe me

It's because people are blind to spiritual truths. I was once blind, you were once blind, we were all once blind and it was only by Gods mercy were we able to see. We can't be upset with the world, that's not our mandate as children of God. We are to learn to extend the same mercy and grace that we have received from our Father and it wasn't Him being upset with our sin that drew us close to Him but His goodness. We will be effective in reaching others if we allowed these things to touch others more.

Thats quite ambitious.
I have always told my kids that they can do anything they set their minds to . The world is your oyster! Make your mark!!

I would only advise you to stay grounded in the Lord. This is a strong suggestion. Stay in the word daily and do not take your eyes off of Christ! Walk by faith in the spirit so that God is glorified and not YOU. God must get the glory, honor, and praise in your endeavors. You are young and its a good time to set out in life the correct way. Gods way! Sow towards the spirit and not your flesh. If you dont, you will fall away and be part of the self righteous crowd that dishonors God. You can do it right the first time around or mess around with folly and waste 20,30 yrs of your life to finally GET IT. Follow Christ.

Proverbs 3:6
5Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. 6In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight. 7Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and turn away from evil.…

Psalms 37:
3Trust in the LORD and do good; Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness. 4Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart. 5Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, and He will do it.…

Colosians 3:16Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God. 17Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.

Blessings

It's like Wm Watson said in his poem, "A large & liberal discontent" for the way things are. (The Things That Are More Excellant). That's how we grow and change the world. Don't sell yourself short. You could be the next S&G and change a generation for better. Keep the faith and follow Jesus. He will show you how to lead.

The bible tells us that the world just isn't going to be a better place - in fact it will just get worse until Jesus comes. Hopefully, it will cause people to see their need of a Savior.

All you can do is pray for those the Holy Spirit puts on your heart, love even the sinner, and "shine" with the gift God has given you. You are just a vessel in the hands of God to use as he sees fit. Usually, it is one person at a time that he brings into our lives.

I'm glad you are open. But as Blondie said, stay grounded in the Word, and strengthen your own relationship with Christ so that you will more easily hear his directions for your life.

Yes, that is correct. I believe we are in the last hour. We all need to be focusing on Christ first everything else is secondary. We are the salt and the light!

**Joidevivre I pray that you had a peaceful holiday season with Jesus. I have thought about you and prayed for you. Blessings

I think most of the teens in the whole world wish the same thing. We do have high expectations, dreams, and sometimes imaginations. I also have the same dream, and i guess it's a common thing to have ambitions as long as you also work hard for it

One Solitary LifeHere is a man who was born in an obscure village, the child of a peasant woman. He grew up in another village. He worked in a carpenter shop until He was thirty. Then for three years He was an itinerant preacher.
He never owned a home. He never wrote a book. He never held an office. He never had a family. He never went to college. He never put His foot inside a big city. He never traveled two hundred miles from the place He was born. He never did one of the things that usually accompany greatness. He had no credentials but Himself...
While still a young man, the tide of popular opinion turned against him. His friends ran away. One of them denied Him. He was turned over to His enemies. He went through the mockery of a trial. He was nailed upon a cross between two thieves. While He was dying His executioners gambled for the only piece of property He had on earth – His coat. When He was dead, He was laid in a borrowed grave through the pity of a friend.
Nineteen long centuries have come and gone, and today He is a centerpiece of the human race and leader of the column of progress.
I am far within the mark when I say that all the armies that ever marched, all the navies that were ever built; all the parliaments that ever sat and all the kings that ever reigned, put together, have not affected the life of man upon this earth as powerfully as has that one solitary life.

This essay was adapted from a sermon by Dr James Allan Francis in “The Real Jesus and Other Sermons” © 1926 by the Judson Press of Philadelphia (pp 123-124 titled “Arise Sir Knight!”). If you are interested, you can read the original version .

Which btw:
Actually, that line needs to look like this......
Jesus Christ.
None other should ever be recognized in the same frame of thought with Christ.
Jesus is God. Nuff said.....................
