This just completely cracked me up - even more worrying I have
seen all of these at some point!

Might even try some of these at a church meeting just for fun!

The interlocker one - funny story this actually happened to me at
a meeting years ago where we were all asked to hold hands
and pray together. I ended up standing next to my friends new
husband and he kept trying to do this to me - so embarrassing.

I just hoped she didn't notice!

Been there... done a few of these myself. Oops, everyone's gotta learn somehow. Maybe this should be part of a new believers class?

There's another one... the person who, in the midst of asking a blessing before eating, decides to intercede for all the hungry overseas... individually...

After all, the food's not getting cold, and no-one here is hungry or has other things to do...

Another one is where people suddenly start praying
in Elizabethen English, then switch to normal english
once they have finished.

I once heard someone praying for a missionary, they
said "like mighty Samson give him the jaw bone of an
ass".

Everyone just fell around laughing - hope God has got
a sense of humour.

The fall a sleeper. We used to have prayer every morning from 6 to 8 with church and some were still half asleep or with soaking prayer in Toronto where people layed on the floor. You just heard a few snoring, no kidding. I'm guilty of it too if I pray in my bed. Not handy.

Oh and the standing around in a circle holding hands bit.

Why do I always manage to get sandwiched between two six footers!
I am only 5" 1' have you got any idea how much your arms ache when
you have to hold them up for several minutes cos the people either
side are way taller than you. Sure they can just put their arms down
but you have to hold your's up!
