In general, I do not consider the 'form' of a womans body to be pornographic; however, yes - this image does "push the envelope" / "ride the edge" - because, you
can see the nipples of her breasts...
I imagine that Abigail's intent was probably more on the 'scientific' side of things... ( i.e. - innocent )
Should we, as Christians, be careful...?
But, of course.
Why?
The slippery-slope, of course.
As a man, I can honestly say:
~ Yes, it does "grab my attention" -- it
is [ visually ]
appealing to look at. ( "naturally" - it
is the 'form' of a woman's body
)
~ I understand the subtle physiological / psychological effects and the assocated risks.
~ I am "strong enough" to not let it "become a thing" in my life. ( "I can handle it." )
It is only "virtual" - it is not real - I am not "attracted" to it; however, it
is a form of 'eye-candy'.
However, I have seen billboard pictures that caused a stronger reaction...
(
Seeing the 'color' and 'hue' of a woman's skin definitely has a 'greater' effect. )
There is a "fine line"
. . . and it mostly has to do with the "intent of the heart" of the one who is viewing the image.
Yes - it is true - it did not have to be quite as graphic to support the intended illustration.
