I truly didn't perceive anything sexual or provocative in the image until your post
But, then you did after reading my post?

"Interesting, indeed..."

It is easy for a woman to do -- because, she does not 'react' to the form / shape of a woman's body like a man does.

Don't get me wrong -- I can certainly look at it with "a pure scientific approach" -- because, I am able to do such. In fact, the "scientific approach" is partly what enables me to identify the "subtleness" of the physiological and psychological reaction-and-effects that [ visualizing ] a woman's body has on a man.

In general, I do not consider the 'form' of a womans body to be pornographic; however, yes - this image does "push the envelope" / "ride the edge" - because, you can see the nipples of her breasts... ;)

I imagine that Abigail's intent was probably more on the 'scientific' side of things... ( i.e. - innocent )

Should we, as Christians, be careful...?

But, of course.

Why?

The slippery-slope, of course.

As a man, I can honestly say:

~ Yes, it does "grab my attention" -- it is [ visually ] appealing to look at. ( "naturally" - it is the 'form' of a woman's body :D )

~ I understand the subtle physiological / psychological effects and the assocated risks.

~ I am "strong enough" to not let it "become a thing" in my life. ( "I can handle it." )

It is only "virtual" - it is not real - I am not "attracted" to it; however, it is a form of 'eye-candy'.

However, I have seen billboard pictures that caused a stronger reaction...

( Seeing the 'color' and 'hue' of a woman's skin definitely has a 'greater' effect. )

There is a "fine line" . . . and it mostly has to do with the "intent of the heart" of the one who is viewing the image.

Yes - it is true - it did not have to be quite as graphic to support the intended illustration.

:)
Yeah, this crossed my mind.

I know that AbZ didn't mean anything by it, though. Us gals don't process things that way, usually lol

"Incidentally..."

I am able to "make" her spin either way at will. I think the "first glance" spin was counter-clockwise.

Please do not misunderstand my motives. I did not say these things to 'complain' ( or any similar such thing ). I am not offended. Rather, I was simply "stating an observation"...

( "Because --- I notice things..." ;) :D )

:)

She was moving counter clockwise.

Then I found myself getting almost hypnotized by her movement.

And when I looked again she was moving clockwise.

So I wondered, how was it that I saw her moving counter clockwise to begin with?

I looked away and shook my head and then looked back. And I was able to perceive her moving counter clockwise, just like she was when she began.

She is truly moving counter clockwise and clockwise is the illusion...

lol

"Brother, why would you go and say something like this...???"

Christian, this does not sound like the normal you -- making "random strikes" is not your usual 'cup of tea'.

Don't you think that insinuations of this sort are really 'uncalled for" and unnecessary?

This is troll-like behavior. Please don't go there. I like you too much, and would not want to see you get banned for making too many personal jabs such as this one...

Perhaps we can now allow the thread to get back on track...?

Take care, brother.

Both directions...guess I'm half and half

newer research actually denies a person being what has been referred to as right or left brained though

I feel like a moron all I can see is her spinning left, not clockwise or not. I mean she is going counterclockwise because left is counter clockwise. I dunno.
