What I thought was funny was one girl here who's really funny and everything, outgoing, lol and then she says she's also an introvert and when something bothers her she gets completely silent.
Had one guy at the office who I befriended on Facebook when I just got kicked off my other forum, so I posted on Facebook all the time. He said: oh now I understand why I catch you sleeping behind your screen sometimes. It's funny. He's an introvert too, doesn't say much, just makes some jokes with the others, but calm and you just never talk about personal or deep stuff irl, but lol he threw it all on Facebook too. I think real extravert persons don't even know forums exist or they only post something once in a while.
I know it's hard to believe, as shy and reserved as I am on here, but IRL, I talk quite a bit.

Frankly, I'm the same on here as when you get to know me really well, but I can stay away when I'm in a savage mood, so you only get the good side of me. So for myself (and I think MOST people, if not all) it is a skewed picture; one way or the other.

Then there are a lot of people in continual savage moods on the BD FORUM.

Im a nice person in real life. Lol

But there again in real life I don't come across people debating
things such as is the world flat, punishing women, do UFO's exist etc.

In fact in real life I've never even heard of half of the stuff which
is discussed on here!

I know right? I can see a person losing their temper or getting in a bad mood and lashing out in person, but online? YOU control when you come on, and when you're getting the wind up and have to get off for a while. smh

With the Blond what you read is what you get in real life... The only thing I don't do in real life is refer to my self third person as the Blond...I save that for cyber space....trying to be funny... which probably ticks off some folks but I don't do it to be mean... just a jokester..... I laugh a lot in real life and I can only lol here... Those are the only differences for me....

PSALM. 15:1-2-3.
LORD, who shall abide in Thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in Thy holy hill?
He that walks uprightly, and works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart.
He that backbites not with his tongue, nor does evil to his neighbour, nor takes up a reproach against his neighbor.

I'm honestly not certain I'll survive it... at least not without a couple of year's worth of therapy. LOL

I do think that being behind a screen and a keyboard gives some folks bravery in that they feel that it is o.k. to bully, name call and such because they think what are they going to do? It's not like they are going to come and get me so they feel more power at the keyboard to say whatever they want....

However, especially on a Christian Chat Site... you would think they might consider that they are representing God in what they do and say.... I know that I try to be good about it although I too have gotten out of line and felt my feathers ruffle a bit here and there. I have to talk to Dad about it and sometimes I know I'm wrong....

I think it's better this way. I know some put their real pictures, but I think without it you just get the essence of who that person truly is without any kind of stereotyping. After all, we won't always have our bodies, homes, positions and roles on this earth, but we will always have our soul- the person we truly are on the inside. And I think this situation is the closest we get to seeing that while in this world.
