So we instantly believe it? A medium, who knowing scams and lies, says they are using spirits, should we believe them? Many times over, those who have claimed to use demon spirits to perform acts or claim to have special powers have been proven to be wrong. To take things at face value seems kind of ignorant. Should we not challenge these things? Does Christ not call us to do such things?
Research James Randi. He, much like Houdini, made a career of debunking these sorts of claims. Now, I will note, Randi is an atheist, however, Eric Wiess (commonly known as Harry Houdini) was Jewish and the son of a Rabbi.
