ok just done my first pictures....not so good cos I haven't stretched properly for three weeks cos of being off but I'll do my best.
Ok so you're gonna need some loose clothing, preferebly NOT jeans because this is likely to restrict your limits. PJs / tights / sweat pants / hoodie / t-shirt / leggings are probably the best.
Stick some upbeat music on for example Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Alexandra Burke, Sugababes (or watch telly...I find it distracts me sticking a film on though)
Unlike I've just done don't go straight into stretching, especially if you're not flexible anyway. For one you won't be warm enough to get to your highest potential at the moment and secondly it can cause injuries. Start with a light jog / skipping / arm rolls / grape vines / some kind of cardio exercise.
Point your feet, soggy feet look ugly. I know in these pictures I'm about to post that my feet are soggy but thats only cos I've got a huge blister on my foot and can't pointe my one foot at the moment.

And oh balls.....it didn't record the whole of it....I'll post some pictures later just cos I'm not exactly looking presentable hahaha....but just a few started points......and when I've posted my pictures and if you stretch regularly then you might just become the next big rubber band!!

Lol its gonna be amazing!!!

By the way.....I forgot to add you'll ache like MAD for the first few times. It's worth it though. If you can get hold of some muscle rub or have a good soak in the bath during the evening it won't be as bad.

Also......I forgot to mention that it will hurt, not agonising pain when you stretch but you'll feel it

I've got used to it now. Very painful when you first start stretching but after a few months it just wears off

Should have seen me when I first started doing splits were nearly crying haha...hard to believe but the plank is more painful. I'm in a class of about 15 and I'm the biggest out of them, probably the least experienced out of all of them and I'm the only one apart from a teacher who took part that managed to complete the whole two minutes...know why? Because I told myself I could do it! I had tears rolling down my face, I looked like papa smurf I went so red in the face, I sweated like my cousin doing a fast paced walk. I also do one thousand sit ups every monday and tuesday...know why?...I tell myself I can do it! Before september I couldn't even do ten. Before november I couldn't even do 40. One day I went to academy and told myself "this is it! All 700 (its gone upto 1000 now) I'm gonna do em" and I did! Ever since that jazz class I've done every single sit up without taking my own break. Basically trying to say its not just physically its mentally too. You might watch a dance and see a dancer doing a triple pirouette and think 'I'd never be able to do that'...wrong! Maybe not straight away....but a few months. I've been dancing week in week out since september. I did my first double pirouette the other week! They're hard but I'm getting there
