So I get what I call Godly dreams from time to time.
I know you are probably thinking I'm another crack pot.
But from one cracked pot to another God is an amazing communicator.
I was in a house full of women! I was in this room which was a
shared bedroom with several other women, almost like a dormitory.
We were sleeping on mattresses on the floor but they were really
comfy like proper beds with pillows sheets quilts etc. The women were
all ages young middle aged older etc. I didn't know anyone but got
talking to 2 women and one was called Gwen (Gwendolyn).
(This bit might seem odd but read on) We all had access to this man
via computers and could chat to him on line but he also was
posting sermons, bible studies and devotionals for the women
to read. He would also ask if there was any subjects the women
wanted to talk about and discuss etc. Then he came to see the women.
He seemed to know everything about each individual woman, what they
were really thinking about behind the forced smiles, when they wanted
to speak, when they needed time and space. What they really meant etc.
It was like he really knew each person, their joys their sorrows. When they
were sad but didn't want to show it. When they were putting on a brave face.
Their deep heart felt needs etc.
He knew if someone needed a hug and he knew when someone needed
to be on their own to sort things out. All of the women had skills and talents but
only he recognised this, the women were so worn down with life
they did not know how important or how valued they were or what they were
capable of.
I looked up one of the sermons on line and one was about lanterns/lights.
It made me think of an old song and I started singing it in the dream.
(Chorus) Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.(repeat)
(Verse) When I feel afraid, think I've lost my way still your there right
besides me. Nothing will I fear as long as you are near.
Please be near me to the end.
(Verse) Now I will not forget your love for me and yet, my heart forever
is wandering. Jesus be my guide and hold me to your side. And I
will love you to the end.
Then I realised this man was Jesus! And I woke up! Upon waking
I had such a sense of comfort, felt protected loved etc. The other
thing I've not slept right through for ages maybe getting 6 hours
of broken sleep a night. But last night I slept soundly all night long.
Maybe this dream was just for me but I feel it is for others as well.
We are "online" to Jesus all the time but he is also nearer than
we think!
