My (their) old blog had lots of those emojis on it. I'd link it, but haven't used it in years, and was informed a month ago that, unless I notified the site I blogged on that I'm using it again, they'd delete it. They deleted it.

I miss those emojis though -- a bear for all seasons. lol

Many of my bears have backpacks. At one time we were so broke we'd literally run out of money for a few days. So, we hid emergency money in their backpacks. They keep coming up with all sorts of reasons we can't use THEIR money. Mostly because "we have families to feed."

Personally? I've never seen them eat, but you just never know, so they have money in their backpacks and won't let us take it. So much for a mere cuddle.

Tell them it's their money or their stuffing. :D

Ah! I wasn't talking about your knee. I was counting the Mama and Baby Bear combination in the background. My mistake. Thanks for the correction. :)
Well, good. Cuz I'm the only one allowed to say, "I'm stuffed." lol

threats!

i knew there was a child rearing tool i forgot. :(

:p

You just need to know how to handle bears. :p

In Lynns case she could just have threatened them with 10 years hard labour.
Actually I suspect she carried out that threat hence the busy little bears
in the garden. Lol

Actually, the stuffed rabbit is the wife of the one trying to lift the bag. They're all married, so it's not merely 10 years of hard labor. It's a lifetime commitment.

Lynn I finally figured out why CC is like stuffed animals (see I used an American word,
figured - do tell if I start to use an American accent. By the way an American
chap was waiting at the bus stop on Sunday while I was on my way home from church.
His accent stood out by miles and he seemed to want to talk to everyone and tell everyone
where he was going and why lol).

Where was I, oh yes CC and stuffed animals.

Some are cute and cuddly, others soft and squidgy.

Others have hard plastic parts, so hard on the outside but soft in the middle, a
bit like a chewy sweet.

Some are full of beans.

Some are very articulate and have jointed moving parts etc.

Others are stiff and unmovable, turn the head and you have to turn the whole body.

Some will come and spend time with you and sit by your side.

Others only come out to play occasionally.

Some are new, shiny, unused.

While other have been there and back many times and now display patches, worn
areas and look a bit frayed.

Some are machine washable, while others need more individual tender loving care.

1. Americans do not have accents. Y'all (you all, you guys, youse) do.

2. Of course he had to tell you where he was going and why. We are important.

3. You cannot get an American accent if you're gonna go all "chap" and "squidgy" on me. (What is squidgy?
)

4. Stuffies/stuffed animals/cuddlies are allergic to soap, so there is no such thing as a safe bath. At least, that's what I'm told.

(And you're not too off the track, because I started calling my stuffed animals stuffies, just because it's quicker to type/say.)

But, you're right. you are catching on to how stuffie
s are like Christians... of all nations.

Aw you've never heard of squidgy! You must have bypassed lots of interesting childhood
moments.

Like making mud bombs (getting lots of wet mud rolling it in your hands and using it as
target practice).

Hand painting and making a real mess, specially if you squeeze the paint tube too hard.

Making chocolate Easter eggs, swishing the chocolate around and letting it run through
your fingers and licking it off.

Bean bag toys are squidgy, or those soft plastic squeezable stress balls which
feel a bit fudgy!

Squidgy describes a certain feel or texture - can be wet but not too runny.
Soft but with a certain amount of substance to it where your fingers sort of
sink in and meet some resistance.
Squidgy is also associated with messy.

Ha ha try getting these into your next teddy bear blog and have folks scratching
their heads. Ps maybe squidgy and fudge could be names for your next family
members and don't forget thingy! (That's just a middle aged word I use when I forget
things)! :D

informal, chiefly BritishSoft, spongy, and moist:a squidgy cream cake

Many leisure centres organise soft play sessions with large squidgy
shapes,
shapes, ball ponds and mini slides.

Add more mud to those mud bombs and you have the beginnings for an adobe (or garage) for the plastic soldiers or the Tonka truck. (Which toy you're giving a home to depends strictly on the amount of mud you have to work with.) Mom knew what my brothers would do if we had free rein on the finer paints. (I'd look like a Jackson Pollack painting. lol) And, nope. I've never made chocolate candy.

But squidgy is that feeling between your toes when standing in mud or in a swamp? Good word!
