My City is hosting a triathlon event today, much of the city centre
has been closed off to traffic and various surrounding roads.
The city centre has various shows, and events going on, with large outdoor
TV screens showing the event and people lining the roads watching the
participants etc.
Have to say I found some of the street events most interesting, like this
one. Really like the black and white costume
phew its getting a bit warm. Lol
Only kidding. Lol
What I loved was the carnival atmosphere and the enthusiasm.
There were various other shows and acts too.
These guys clearly loved what they do and their smiles and commitment were infection
and their hard training paid off. It was also great to see different people groups taking part.
It got me thinking how on earth can we attract people to Christ if they see us as
morose and miserable. What about our smiles and enthusiasm. Do we run the
race being miserable or with enthusiasm.
