Hi everyone.. I am getting baptised next Sunday.. I got saved in 2009 and back slided for a while but gave my life back to the Lord in January. There is a few of us getting baptised and we are told we need to say a few words, nothing particularly long just a few lines.. Can anyone guide me as I really don't know what to say.. I've never spoke infront of a large crowd either but I know the Lord with give me the boldness to overcome that so not really concentrating on my nerves. Any suggestions would be great.. Thank you all

Focus on only one person in that crowd, and plainly tell them something you would like them to know... but speak to the the whole group, looking both left and right, and toward the back, as you speak.

Talk a little about what your life was like before you knew Christ, then tell everyone how your life has changed as a result of knowing Christ. Speak from the heart.

Just a few words? Say, "See you on the other side!"

I can't think of anything right at the moment to say but I'd suggest you not worry too much about it. Maybe a few "thank yous" ... Maybe a quick little story about your life that's relevant to your baptism.
