I being newly saved need to be baptized. However, my church will not have another baptizing time until September. It says that I need to be baptized asap. Yet, I don't know where or how to find a pastor that can do it now, or at the very least today. Anyone have any ideas. I don't want to wait til my church decides to do it.

There is no need to hurry. A baptism is not some ritual that you need to hurry and perform. Baptism should be a personal choice you make when you are ready, and has no bearing on your salvation.
It is 1) a symbol of your rebirth and 2) a public confession of faith. If it's something you want to do now and feel ready, then just wait till Sept. If not then hold off, or wait till Sept gets closer and decide then.
This is why churches don't have frequent baptisms and instead do them spread out. There's no real urgency. So relax. Hang around Your church till Sept.

You've already had the important baptism -- Living Water. Jesus. Hold off on the H2O baptism a bit. Too much is going on for you right now.

I'd go with give it a year because maybe by then your wife may want to celebrate this with you by then. Maybe not, but right now she's going to hate it, and you're still working on loving her.

Are you familiar with the Didache? People considering conversion in the 1st century were instructed in this teaching of the Apostles for a period of time, as a way to see if they REALLY wanted to follow this "New" religion.

Google it. It's quite an interesting study.

It's not necessary to get baptized. It's done more as a ritual, or a symbol of your newfound salvation. :)

Honestly, I think it's awesome that you have such a desire to follow in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ's, foot steps and get baptized as a new believer. If you think you can wait till Sept, then do so. If not, maybe make a party out of it. :D I did with my daughter. We had a pizza party before hand, it was great! Anyways, do you have a friend who has a pool or is there a lake near by? Or, can you get some kind of container, like a feeding trough that you can put in your yard and fill up with water? See if your pastor, or one from another church, will meet you there to baptize you. Invite your friends and family to join in the celebration and make it a pot luck so everyone can stick around awhile and fellowship. Might even be a great time to invite others to be baptized too. Just an idea. :)

I think I'll wait til September I spoke with a pastor in my area and he said he would recommend doing it with the church God has led you to. It creates more of a family bond when your church can share with this special moment in my new life. That makes sense to me.

I don't think you need to race. If you can find a pastor from a different church to do it, that would be fine, or maybe you could talk your own pastor in to baptizing you right away. I don't know why he wouldn't.
