Think on this my friends what is the best way the enemy can attack us? The 2 biggest ways I see are through discouragement and destroying our witness.

My dearest brothers and sisters in Christ the enemy fears saints that are an all consuming fire for the Lord. Attacks come relentlessly from the enemy camp to try to neutralize this threat to him. Why because of the damage we can cause to his camp through the Spirit of the Lord coursing through our veins. I view it as the greatest thing. You may ask why. Well brethren think of it this way we are following Jesus as we are meant to and he hates it and wants to stop it at any cost.

So what do we do then? The Bible says in Ephesians chapter 6 to don the armor of God. When we do we can stand up to the spiritual warfare. When we are attacked we need to level the sword of truth at the enemy. It's only one weapon but who could ask for a better one. The sword of truth cuts through their lies and causes them to flee and cower. We have power through Christ and He is very possessive and will fight for what belongs to Him. Call upon the name of the Lord and you'll be saved. It can be used anytime a mountain rises above you or even when you need salvation for the first time.

So next time you face off against the enemy attack him with scripture in Jesus name and they must flee from you. Don't allow them to take dominion in your life. We are the King's kids. Don't be afraid to call Daddy. I love you all my dearest brothers and sisters in Christ. God bless you all.

So, when is it me and when is it "the enemy?"

I have this cousin the same age as me. When we were kids we used to hang out at his grandmas house. I remember once he did something bad and he told her that "the devil made me do it". She was fine with that answer and he was off the hook. I don't believe the devil is responsible for people screwing up and making bad choices. I think he is there to tell you that you are a failure when you do. He likes to whisper in your ear I suppose but really has no power over you.....only the power you give to him. Sorta like an abusive relationship. The victim doesn't have to stay (usually) but does. Victims and victimizers are cooperating in ignorance.

Of course there are exceptions to this...for example: a lady walking down the street is raped or mugged. But in general, decisions we make are ours alone and the devil isn't to blame.

The devil whispers in our ear that's true and he can't make us do anything. What I'm saying is when he attacks you with temptations, lies, and guilty feelings hit him back with scripture. Try to maintain a strong close walk with God so that it's harder to give in to temptations and know the lies when you see or hear them.

Man is tempted by his own desires.

You're right it's all about desires. If we desire Him we will be in the word praying and serving Him. I meant this post as an inspirational message. We will fall from time to time but what matters most is what we do afterwards. Don't wollow in self pity get up dust off and repent and continue your walk with the Lord. Praise Jesus for His grace and mercy. We'd be lost without it.

A fired up Christian shouldn't be that big a deal. Our love for Him should be an overpowering desire to serve and be in His presence. We are called to stand out from the crowd and be the salt of the earth.

I get the inspiration but only balance and soundness of both sides will help.. Pretty pictures will make some lose heart when it tougher than they thought.. expectations and imagination start.
Crash and burn experience I had myself years ago.. I like preparation.. likewise I like to balance things
Scripts have to be used correctly. Satan knows all of them too.
Even then if we do something that allows him in then using scripts first is a joke to him... Awareness is key

I mean this with all respect but when I picture a 'fired' up Christian, I get the picture in my mind of driving through a car lot just scoping things out and suddenly there's a guy practically inside my car trying to sell me one. Every successful salesman that I know first builds a relationship of trust with someone. Same goes for anything someone is trying to sell. If they don't like you they ain't gonna buy your product. And you can pretty much take that to the bank every single time.

if a person doesn't think that you value them as a person and not just with lip service, they will probably go somewhere else.

A christian thats Is presenting his/her body a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to GOD, ready to do the good works that Is GOD's workmanship created In CHRIST unto good works that were before ordained that we should walk In them.
