This isn't our backyard, but sometimes we will have as many as 30 or 40 of these guys strutting across our lawn. They walk all the way through the neighborhood, foraging in a group.

We have a lot of free-roaming tamer animals around here. Once, I was walking up to the entrance to our local 7/11 and saw a bird on the door header. I simply held out my finger, and he/she hopped on.Cool!
Only birds that tame here are sparrows and pigeons

A lot of the squirrels are extra friendly, too. One that I used to feed when I walked our dog would walk right under the dog, and has, on occasion, nuzzled Gordy, nose-to-nose... like they were kissing. A couple of the squirrels will let me scratch their heads.
I'm sure you noticed the two "visitors" in the lake in the photo. Unfortunately, they also get a little too friendly. I never see anyone feeding them, but someone must be.
