We celebrated India's 70th independence anniversary yesterday. Most Indians do not remember anyone other than gandhi but he had a lot of foreign supporters who aided his cause for independence. Without the courage of these collective individuals, india would not be a free/independent country like it is now.....check out this guy Samuel Stokes who was a friend of gandhi and instrumental in revitalizing apple farming in India and helping poor farmers....
