As a spin-off from Willie's "Sad" thread....

I saw a pair of trainers online and thought to myself "wow they are cool", thought about buying them and then decided against it. Why you might think? Because they are rainbow coloured and if I wore them to work or put them on at home I would get "gay" comments. I am so annoyed that the rainbow colours have become a symbol for gayness and the gay movement are so entrenched in the rainbow symbol that it has become iconic to it. Not only does this totally go against God's intended message of it but anyone who isn't gay or doesn't agree with the gay movement has a fear of wearing or displaying it so yeah I'm annoyed somewhat!

On a slightly different note, I got asked today if I had gone to the local "pride" gathering and was then told that "lots of straight people went" Yeah....I won't tell you my reply but it caused a bit of an awkward silence.

I have an orange, short sleeve shirt. Some boys were driving by and yelled, "Happy Halloween."

Apparently, morons are allowed to live around us. I still wear the shirt.

And my response to the question about "pride" and "straight people" going? "Yeah, I'm not proud of that either."

I would have gotten them and written genesis 9:17 with a sharpie on them.

Then if people asked I could tell them about God's love and saving grace.

Yes, it is kind of a shame. Even the word, "Gay", was turned from something good to what it means now.

for years hubby and I put out those little flags on metal posts with many different colored
things at different places in our yard, such as 'birds-bugs-butterflys, hummingbirds, etc. - one day a neighbor
whom we dearly love came by and told us that some of our neighbors thought that we were upholding
the 'gay-rights' movement -
by displaying these works of art, what we thought of as organic banners showing our love for the beauty
and uniqueness of God's beautiful creations....

we were dumbfounded and really had a hard time believing such a thing was true...we eventually learned
that indeed many people were believing such things...but, we must confess, it made absolutely no difference
to us and of our displaying of the things in nature that we love, and it never will,..

Have you ever played a round of golf? I have heard words on the Golf Course that will never be found in the Bible.

Too right, sister! As for the pride gathering. Lots of straight people supporting the homosexuality agenda is really why they have so much power in society. After all, there are even gay people who want nothing to do with the flamboyant bullying of others who believe differently.

Fore score and seven years ago...uh, no. I think that's the Gettysburg Address. It may be sort of biblical though.
I actually checked before posting that, "KJV" only, and the stand-alone word "fore" is not in the Bible! Forehead, foreknowledge, therefore, before, foreskin, foreigner, forefront, forepart, foremost, wherefore, forest, foreseeth, forefather, foretold, forecast, foresaw, foreship, foreknow, foreknew, foretell, forewarned, forerunner, foreordained... 116 instances, but none stand alone :D
