It seems that the responder interpreted the pictures to be a commentary about people being poor, down and out, unemployed..

Now i assume that you interpreted the message of the pictures to be pointing to the fact that both sets of men have their heads buried into information devices.. In the old times News Papers and in the modern times their internet phones..

So i assume it is the case of two different interpretations of the same pictures leading to confusion..
