It's easy to get caught up in the Political talk. When you feel overwhelmed come here and get away from it. Post something positive. This is my Dog Sophie, she's dreaming of a world made of cheese cubes and milk bones and being able to, excuse the term, fart quietly. She's the only dog I've had that doesn't and it cracks me up.

Wait -- Sophie doesn't fart or doesn't fart quietly? (If the former, you should really breed her. Fartless dogs. I see that breed winning the Westminster Dog show. lol)

She farts loud. Not all the time, but she fart's. I was brushing her tail last night and she farted, that was pleasant. She got into the cat food yesterday so it was a gassy day.

Last spring, I didn't expect John to be home in time to see the garden this year. Between visiting him and dealing with normal chores on my own, I didn't really have time to futz much with our garden either. BUT John so loved seeing the trees outside his window and getting bouquets, I wanted to make sure he had bouquets from our garden all the way until he came home. So, I sowed flower seeds for only "cut flowers."

Here's our first full bouquet.

My plan didn't work right though. John was with me in the garden when I picked the flowers. He took the picture.

That's pleasant? Hmmm, I'm having you over the next time we have to snake out the sewer drain. You've got the nose for it. lol

I was on my hike today when I saw a beautiful cream colored cat with blue eyes across the road. It let me walk right up to it and pet it, and it even kissed my hand a few times. Boy, it sure was a friendly kitty! I didn't get a pic of the cat, but I Googled the one below which looks a lot like it. The website said the breed is a British longhair.

My cat used to roam the neighborhood. All the neighbors knew him by name. (And a couple fed him too. lol) Friendly cats usually have a home.

She looks a little like my rescued Luna, who is a Blue Point in looks, but not as thick a coat.

Asian cats can have quite a yowl. I am so glad my kittie is quiet. Sometimes I would not even know she was saying anything to me except I can see her mouth open and close LOL. She bites everything! My daughter says that, too, is typical of Asian cats. :D

She is just so happy to get outside haha. My daughter's cat orange is like that, always looking to escape the house, lurking near the door and eyeing it when it opens, haha we really have to watch him. He used to escape and roam far, which really worried everyone, but now when he gets out he does not go far and is easily caught to be brought back indoors where he is safe :)
