So I don't think Ive mentioned it here on this forum before, but I actually have a big fascination for colors. Like, I just love colors, I like being surrounded by them and thinking about them talking about them. I dunno why, I just think theyre way amazing : p I love dual colors, too. Like, I like it when colors are used to associate opposing factions. I don't mean like war and other terrible things, it can be like sports or anything else like that. But the big two that are always used in duality together are red and blue, and I am fascinated by the two because of that : p I often like to think about the two, and which one I like better (my feelings often change with time : p)

But yeah, like I said, I am fascinated by them and enjoy talking about them, so Im curious about what others think of the two as well : p Sooooo, Id like to hear your thoughts on which one you like better, and which one you believe fits you best and why : p

So yeah...

Blue...

But when i was younger i liked Red.. Colour preferences change over your life time..

Haha yeah mine switches all the time : p When I tell people my favorite color, its pretty much just whatever color Ive been obsessed with lately : p (Right now its pink, but Ive been getting into neon orange lately too)

Ohhhh, depends on the context. I typically wear blue and earth tones, but a lot of the things I do like red. Particularly dark red.

I suppose on balance, I'm more of a blue man.

My fave color is clearly obvious..lol.. :eek: .. I like red, but not bright red, I like the darker reds..like red wine or burgundy color red. I like all shades of blue except for navy blue. I like purple too. :)

From these two I would say red for sure. I don't like most blues. Something like a Dark Cyan is cool though. My two favorite colors are Black and Dark Purple.

I can never trust what colors I'm seeing though. My eyes see two different shades and I sometimes don't know which is which lol. I once painted my bedroom what I thought was silver... years later someone told me it was brown XD.

With these two , definitely red. Favorite color is purple hands down.

Interesting the main likeable colors so far are red, blue and purple. Red mixed with blue becomes purple, the color of royalty.

I like the blue. My favorite colors are purple and blue. My wedding colors were purple and silver, it was a nice combination. I like colors that compliment each other.

When I'm working with kid's and I'll ask what their favorite color is? many of them say rainbow, they love them all. It's so sweet.

It could just be the image but of these two flags I definitely prefer the blue one, as the red looks a little muddy, and I do not like muddy, I like crisp and clear, and it is funny because I of course do like many shades of purple but not all, for instance, some might call burgundy purple, but I don't care for it, nor maroon, haha, they fall in the muddy camp for me. Over the years my tastes have gone from really dark gem tones to lighter hues, and to me that also speaks of my spirit lightening up and not being so weighed down and heavy with the cares of the world :D I work with color at my job, also, so I am aware of the differences presented as to whether you are talking light rays or pigments. I have studied other areas relating to what they supposedly govern or represent in our energy systems, and red would be quite basic, tied to survival, which is why red is associated with anger, because anger is used to defend ourselves, and often puts us in touch with how we really feel about issues that may otherwise escape our attention. Blue is associated with communication. So of course in blending those two aspects we get learning to communicate basic truths about ourselves, standing in the truth of who we are. That takes heart :) Not liking red is funny for me too because I will wear deep shades of pink, dusty rose, fuchsia, etc before I would wear blue, though I love turquoise and teal. :)

I'm not a fan of anything blue though I like turqoise and duckegg colours. I love red but my favourite colour is green.

I would suggest the frequent contrast would be to the opposing feelings each color provokes. Blue is a color that tends to evoke calmness and peace. Red indicates activity and action. When two athelites, boxers let's say, wear these opposing colors the majority of the time the athelite in red will be chosen as more likely to win. Actually this is true of pretty much all basic colors vs red. And let's not forget the 'red dress' on women and how it is proven to make them stand out more than the same dress in another color on the same person.
But when people think blue it's more about the sky. Water. Calm or fun and relaxing activities.
Contrasting these two colors is like contrasting calm and energetic.
I discoverd a few years back my favorite color is red.
