Sin has no more master over us; it can't keep us from eternal salvation. But, yet, we find ourselves giving in to anger, pride, selfishness, etc. Most of this comes from our "flesh". And it can bring harm to others and ourselves.
Still need to confess when that happens, and at the same time give thanks that we DO have the power to overcome these things in our lives now. Just takes a whole lot of being in the presence of Christ "If you abide in me...." you will bear much fruit. If you are busy bearing fruit, there just isn't much time to sin.
