Gay Invasion

This post was in response to Cookie 39's statements of judgement towards homosexuals, and I do not take any of the verses including Leviticus 18:19 literally. I believe that more focus should be placed on prayers for children in Sudan, women in Saudi Arabia, and to stop the domestic violence that occurs all around the globe. The huge christian anti-gay movement, could better assert their efforts in a direction of real change!!

I merely wanted to point out that if someone is saying that gays should be prayed for for their sins than so should you. If you decide to have tattoos, and eat rare meat, shellfish, or are not subservient to men; the passages are right next to each other, and god says follow all of my laws. He didn't say that the verse about not sleeping with another man is more important. I personally have no judgment or problem with people who chose parts of the bible to follow and others to not, I do that myself. I simply don't think that we even have a right to say what the path best chosen is, especially when something like a tattoo is nearly irreversible. I hope that no one is silly enough to pray for you to get laser surgery, or to look at your tattoo thinking that you should ask for forgiveness, and are living in sin. I'm also glad that you don't feel that you should place judgement, hopefully you will vote that way when the bill is on the ballot!!!!!!!!!!

ok well the reason i responded to you is if you will scroll up....you quoted those scriptures when you was using my words in a quote and not cookies......my tattoos were aquired during a dark period in my life....and no i dont pass judgement on anyone....we are all human and we are all going to sin every day of our lives....if someone wants to pray for me to get laser surgery i hope they pray that the lord will provide me the money for im now disabled.....i pray one day that i have the financial means to do so...who knows.......

but you are right we dont have a right to tell others not to follow a path.....what path they follow is between them and their lord....now if someone were to ask me my opinion on it im going to tell them and they may not like what i have to say......its not our place to judge....that is our lord jesus' place to judge......all i was telling the person was try not to be disgusted w/the people.....its their lives and they can live the way they want too.....but nothing wrong w/being disgusted w/the act.....but hey we all have things in this world we find disgusting....blessings to you

I can see the log or plank, or speck, what ever anyone want to name it, I can see for mine is gone..... it is not what you have done it is about what you are doing now. what are you doin???? maybe this is the reason people insist on living according to the worlds standards and not God's, hmm as I see because they think God don't have a WRAFT, that is why Jesus came to save you all from the Wraft of God, but seeing how some are think without knowledge, and speaking as if they are atheist, not believing the Word of God. Therefore they go about teaching false doctrine, OH it's ok to sin, God love you anyway, it's ok to serve the devil and call yourself a christian, it's ok to have friends that live contrary to why Christ died, but if I agree with the World I wont be cast out.. if every one else is saying it and doing then so can I, the devil is a lier, you agree with it then you too are going to Hell. for as God said if ANY MAN IS A FRIEND TO THE WORLD, HE IS NOT MINE. read the bible, sit at the feet of God to learn of him...... if you think this is judging then it is, and who am I? I am a child of the most HIGH and only true and living God, and as he said when we JUDGE, do it righteously,,,, if we forgive a man his sins; he will be forgiving, and if we don't then he is not forgiving,,, we are a Holy preisthood, a perciular people, a chosen generation, we as Christians, " true christians has been giving the rights through Christ Jesus to Judge" but to do it righteously" I am not condemning no one, they do that themselves. but to tell the truth, I see: it hurts those who are in sin. trust me when you start serving God for real you will change your heart about what you agree with and what you don't.

i know what ur saying ant....i get discriminated due to the tattoos...where i live there are alot of extremely conservative christians that frown on them...so when i have to meet the parents of my daughters friends i wear long sleeves and such so they dont see them....because when they did see them...the children were not allowed to come over due to one reason or another , but later on i found out from my daughter through her friends that the parents didnt like em.....discriminaton happens....ppl get disgusted over everything and theres not much to be done.....i have friends that are gay or bisexual....i dont discriminate them or preach to them or anything....they have just as much right to live in this world as anyone else....i simply pray for them like everyone else......we can agree to disagree....and no im not condemning you in anyway.....but what they do is a sin just like i me having the tattoos on my body is a sin.....but its a part of my life just like its a part of their lives......and we just learn to live among each other the best we can peacefully....there should be no reason for hatred....and your right there is alot of pain and suffering in the world that surely needs alot of prayer and we really need to be concentrating on that...blessings to you hon

Hate the sin love the sinner, words to live by I've found out... especially when I found out the one of my new co-workers is a wicken. I was totally freaked out about it at first. But then I got to know her, she's a really cool gal, she keeps it on the D.L. Every once in a while she brings up her terra cards, and how they were upset with her 'caues she left 'em out in the rain... I actually found it quite amuzing.

In my honest opinion, I think the entire show is unecessary, do we really need more celebreties? And I think it's unfair to say it's being invaded by gays anyway, a couple a years ago... last year even, people could have said that it was being invaded by Christians. Last year's winner was a Christian, and the third place guy was a Christian, Chris Sligh from a few years back was Christian.

I'm glad we are on the same page, I just get kind of touchy with extreme talk about homosexuals because currently it is illegal in most states for gays to marry, and I have friends who suffer because of these laws. Peace be with you all!!!

I find your attitude towards people who are also loved by our God quiet disgusting actually, we're not the ones who are meant to judge let alone make others feel like they're 'disgusting'.

So do you aprove of a child molester to raise children, or a 40 year old man to love and have sex with a 5 year old, hmm I wonder what does the body of Christ do, first of all God hate all sinners as well as they hate him, before Christ, we all was enemies to God. so to say God loves all sinners is a lie and the Bible does not say that... this is why Christ had to come to sooth the raft of God on all who live in this world... and point blank... if they are not saved through the faith in Christ which will lead to a life of righteousness the are not a child of God.... as Jesus said they are the seed of the devil. so who's seed are all you who agree that it is ok to live a life of sin.... as Jesus said satan will not rebuke satan.. for a kingdom against it self can not stand... and I don't care what sin it is GOD SAID have no fellowship with the unfruitful workks of darkness... so who you all want to obey,,, GOD or the world... for he who is friends to the world is a enemy of God... And that is what GOD say... so let me hear who is going to ask the Lord who is he to Judge??????? I am so tired of hearing ungodly, confessing Jesus but having their hearts far from him people tring to tell people who KNOW GOD what they should or should not say about the truth... as it say in Romans 1... you are no different then they who do shuch things for you yourselves do them also..... see only people who are deep in their sin hate to hear a strong and truthful rebuke even if it is from the WORD of GOD...... so please stop saying God love the sinner but hate the sin... that is no where in the bible.... he came to save them from their sins.. but if they die in their sins they are going to HELL!!!!! so keep on deceiving them to make them it's ok with God because he loves them... you too will be going to Hell with them.. for speaking msuch lies... I will pray for all..... it is a shame what the devil is doing to people... God said if they want to believe a lie... he will help you... you will never know the truth for he will send you strong delusions... that you will keep beliveing a lie... be careful what you say for if you speak false doctrine... you bring a curse on yourselves... Wow, I never thought there would be so many Christians in support of the Gay lifestyle. It's speaks volumes about the state of the Church today and ANT, it's a very dangerous thing to take on only the parts of the bible you like and leave others you agree with. The bible requires spiritual understanding that only comes from the Lord, and to limit parts is to miss the Lord's true message and keeps you in confusion and total darkness. I saw you mentioned sacrifices in the Old testament, well, with the wisdom that God gives through the spirit of truth you can see, the reason we're not slaughtering sheep is because of JESUS.
He died as our ultimate sacrifice. See, things are missed when there is a lack of Knowledge. We our only sinners SAVED by GRACE, God is eternal, all knowing, and we are to submit ourselves to him and his WORD. Who are we to say "No God, I know better than you, I don't think this law is right. I know you created everything, but I got this, I can lead my own life by what I think is best". That's a very bad place to be as you will soon find out that what we think is right and good and perfect for us is WRONG. So I agree, not just with American Idol, but many other shows and many other sins being portrayed as fine and ok and to think otherwise as being "Old Fashioned or Judging". The Church needs to stand up and preach with is true no matter if people think it's PC or not. Remember, the LOVE of GOD doesn't mean acceptance of SIN. People keep saying God as if it means that no matter what we do God loves us and it's ok we don't have to turn away from a lifestyle that displeases him. If the Latter was true, we wouldn't need a savior and we could all continue to do what we feel is right and life as we please and we're all going to heaven in the End. Sin is Sin and one is not greater than the other, we are to show love towards one another and lead to Christ without hatred but that does not mean ACCEPTANCE of sin.

You cannot compare someone who is gay to a necrophelliac.
