I'm just doing some research on different denominations (it's a hobby of mine). I have yet to see a denomination that actually openly considers visions or hallucinations of any sort as a divine message. I know there must be some out there that believe something like this. Could you point me in the right direction?

Have you read the last book of the Bible?

Are there any that don't?

Remember discernment though. Not all dreams are visions

I did though I have a terrible memory and I have to reread the entire bible again just to remember some key parts of it.

What are you getting at though?

I think there are a few people in every denomination who view visions as God inspired. I've had both - a dream that came true, and a vision that also revealed the direction God would be leading me in.
But it seems that those who have not had such a thing would likely downplay both.

It is funny about dreams. From God, they are always confirmed through another source (usually a praying person). I did not act on my dream (to write a book) until someone while they were praying for me mentioned that she felt strongly that I was called to write. That was probably 2 or 3 years after the dream. But it hit my heart, and I acted.

The vision didn't come into full effect until a few years had passed also.

Assemblies of God.

I think they're quite a bit more likely to refer to them as "visions" than "hallucinations", though.
