Just wondered how your day has gone.

Mine included dealing with a case at work involving land owned
by an upset Mormon; and a mad cat woman who attacked a lorry driver's wife!

I can't say any more or I would have to shoot you. So how has your
day gone. :D

Mad cat woman? You mean lady blue???

Mine had been pretty normal - boring! At least we got over hump day, the Americans are still "enjoying" their working day :p lol

No, blue is a sane cat woman - I'm talking of a woman with a cattery!

Poor Americans I forgot they are still at work. :)

One word peaceful. I don't have my phone going off every time I turn around, work emails, or interruptions by coworkers. Made it through turning in payroll and the craziness of the last two days. I'm home trying to rest off my fever, so even though I'm not feeling well, it's nice to be away from chaos lol

But, I found an amazing song today by my favorite musician that I havent heard yet and that made me happy : p And tomorrow is my friday, so all I have to do is stand another 7 hours of labor and I get two days off in a row, so Im happy : p

feeling Blessed as always, so very many things to be grateful for, when a third of the world don't even
have running water in their kitchens, much less indoor bathrooms or just the bare necessities...

hubby and I feel so blessed, two days ago, after we had cleaned up some of the debri of the hurricane,
we were sitting out back with the sprinkler on some flowerers that we planted just for the butterflies,
and we sat in wonder as one flew in and out of the light spray, seemingly to relish in the play - in and out
of the spray over and over in pure joy...oh heavenly Father, how we hope and pray for our brothers and
sisters to find such simple joy in all that You have created and given and for the ones who have not the
simpllst of comforts...

ty Miri for such a thoughtful Post...

For a month or so around July/August I kept having a dream about butterflies and that's all I
got nothing else and no context.

Then mid August as I was dropping off to sleep I was chatting to God and having a pity party!
Don't know if you ever do that. Anyway I had a dream in which I was jumping up and down on
a pogo stick! I've never been on one in my entire life but it seemed very hard work. I wasn't
getting very far considering the effort I was putting in.

But then I had another dream that I was standing by the garden gate with butterflies flying around.
The difference really struck me, I/we can jump about putting in lots of effort and get nowhere using
up all our energy. Or we can flutter gracefully and effortlessly.

Upon waking I was thinking about those verses of soaring on Eagles wings. The other thing I got
was about release, transformation. I/we should live like transformed people but instead hop
about stuck on a pogo stick going nowhere. I bet you all think I'm nuts now!

But anyway the next day I pulled my back (it was to be the first of three occasions)
which led to back problems, sciatica and then a trapped nerve in my back. I tell you
that while my back is now ok and the sciatica gone, I'm still struggling with the
trapped nerve, it is affecting the way my muscles function in my upper leg.
Even this is now improving slowly but at times I have literally had to limp or hop on
one leg. It has slowed me down I can't walk quickly or run for the bus as the
muscle won't respond quick enough. At times it feels like I have weights strapped
to my leg.

Ive thought a lot about the dream on the pogo stick! That's how I've been! But I have the
option of complaining about it or being like a spiritual butterfly who is free and full of
grace.:)

Oh dear my aunt has just been sick, so I had better clean up.
Another test of grace! I can cope with most things blood, the runs etc, but
vomit is another thing entirely.

God bless everyone
