Thanks to Obummercare, health care premiums have jumped quite a bit for the last two years for postal workers. Luckily, NALC heath insurance is still reasonably priced and offers good coverage. I recently switched from Aetna to NALC and saved a bundle!
I had to drop my Postal Health Insurance, because my share of cost for meds kept going up and up for diabetes medications, my share of cost for insulin jumped to $100 per month, and some of my pills were nearly that high too. Luckily I had another option, and that was the VA Hospital, that is only about 4 miles from my house. Meds only cost me $9 share of cost there, no matter what the Med. An office visit costs $18 share of cost.

That VA Hospital sounds like your best option.
