So I got a wondercore smart for Christmas - this is it in case you wondered.

WonderCore® Smart - Home Gym | Thane Direct UK

So over Christmas I tried a few gentle stretching exercises on my left leg.
Its not been quite right since I pulled my back got sciatica and a trapped nerve in
August.

It really did work wonders on my leg, it feels like something has been eased or released.

So full of confidence I decided to try the "easy" 35 minute work out on the DVD which
came with it. (Take note of the word easy here).

Oh my word - it seemed a good idea at the time, only today every muscle in my body
aches and I'm walking around like John Wayne. :D I keep forgetting I'm 48!
I don't feel 48!

Anyway I wondered if you have ever almost exercised yourself to death!

Nope, I am too lazy / weak / unfit to do that (I can barely get started before I end up panting on the floor) :p

Well, maybe when I used to "fight" with swords (mine weighs 1.2 kg)

When I used to workout I would always lift weights until I just couldn't anymore I give it my all when I work out which normally results in me overworking myself as I tend to do when I do any kind of physical labor and feeling weak in pain and sick the next day.

I don't know what it is about physical labor that I love so much but when I do it I go all out and it normally ends with me over working my body, however until I get my sleeping issues in check I can't work at the gym anymore. However I will say this I will NOT do running or jogging I hate it absolutely hate it lol

When that happens I take a bunch of magnesium pills. They are nature's muscle relaxant and they therefore make the soreness go away. If you take too much it also works as a mild laxative, just so you know lol (the digestive tract is a muscle too). Don't worry, in a few days the soreness will be gone and you will be a whole level stronger than you were before that workout! :)

If you can find people doing reenactment in your area that probably involves swords

Certain female body shapes don't really go together with jogging or jumping around!

I use to be really fit, that included doing weights at the gym, I enjoyed that the most too.

Fit or not, jogging just isn't .... comfortable when you're a woman :p
Which reminds me:

(Hope this one isn't considered unseemly for the forums)

When i was younger i was pretty fit due to playing soccer. About 11 years ago at a picnic i decided to play in the pick up game that started. The next day when i woke i hurt so bad that i could not walk...i had to call off work. I am now almost 50 and on Dec 1st i broke my hip at work due to a fall during a simple task. I do not think i will be trying any more physical activities....they are out to kill me lol.

I don't know I am pretty passionate when I use swords I did only once it was wooden swords and I have always loved the duel wielding style and it was a friendly little sword match in a dojo in Texas when I was 13 lots of people were there to have fun sword fighting. Back then my adhd was pretty bad but when I picked up those two swords and face my challenger something happened to me my body naturally did this pose and suddenly I was calm yet determined my opponent looked confused at my sudden change of character and how I naturally did this pose.

When the word go happened my body just moved and I was hack and slashing at the guy it was sloppy as I basically learned all my moves from anime shows and never practiced them but the poor guy could only block. the match was ended early and the instructor pulled me aside and asked me what happened because he said my eyes suddenly were as he said a calm white tiger whatever that means and that while i was really sloppy he said I had a lot of hidden potential as a sword fighter.
but we moved to Oklahoma before I could join and ever since then my body has craved that again just watching my anime shows with sword fighting in them makes me want to sword fight really badly.
